We are returning this because if you don't lie exactly in the middle, you'll roll off during sleep! It happened to us. That's hard to do while you are asleep! The fabric is good quality and it didn't lose too much air after first filling. So maybe this will work for you. But for us, of average weight, the mattress wasn't stable enough to be 12" high. Filling it more made it more unstable and filling it less made it impossible to turn over on one's side. The included pump wasn't too slow (as some other reviews indicated.) Our biggest problem with the pump was that it didn't seem to really fit the air valve and kept falling out if left unattended while filling. It's also designed in a way that the pump couldn't just sit on the floor while filling. So the whole process might require you to squat down on the floor during the mattress filling process. This might be difficult for some users who are less mobile, or in very tight spaces. All in all the material quality seems good and we've been INTEX customers for years, but this mattress wasn't a win for us. YMMV ... show more

So we bought this for company coming in on the holiday weekend (bought aug 17, it is now aug 29). We blew it up early and let it set for a few days, then put more air in as it said to do in the instructions. Long story short, this thing is losing air and NO ONE has even laid on it yet!
