We purchased this pool for our 5 1/2 and 3 year old. This pool is nice and large and has plenty of space for both of my kids to play and splash. My husband has even spent some time in it with them and still left plenty of room to play. The spray that comes out of the sides is a ton of fun and the slide is just right for my kids. As I type they are outside sliding down it head first on their tummies and having a grand time. It isn't depicted on the Amazon picture, but there is also a little inflatable landing pad at the base of the slide, which is a nice touch. One thing I didn't realize when I ordered is that both pool areas have a drain on the bottom, which I was very pleased to see. Most similar pools do not have that feature, so it was a pleasant surprise. There was a small hole in the bottom of the smaller area of the pool, but my kids played in it empty for a couple of days in the house before we filled it up outside so they could have caused that. Even so, we didn't even patch it yet and the water level has remained fine despite the hole. We do have a tarp under it so that may help... The pool came with a patch so we will patch it up once it is dry so it doesn't get bigger, but I am not too concerned. Any pool like this is going to end up with holes in the bottom in my opinion. As long as the inflatable parts stay intact then I don't worry too much and so far it has held air great. We are very happy with this purchase. It was a reasonable price, especially considering the fun toys that come with it.

We absolutely love this inflatable pool! It was incredibly easy to set up—took just a few minutes and we were ready to splash. Our toddler is obsessed with it and spends hours playing happily. What really impressed us is how durable it is. Not only has it held up to daily toddler play, but our large dog also enjoys lounging in the water, and the pool has handled his nails like a champ. No leaks, no tears—just solid quality. Highly recommend for families with little ones and furry friends!

I bought this pool for my 2 year old son and 8 month old daughter. I think it is perfect for their ages! I'm sure they will be able to play in and enjoy it until they are at least 4 as well. (hopefully longer!) I love that the sides are low so my son can easily jump in and out. Shallow enough for my baby daughter to sit in and splash but enough water for my 2 year old to enjoy. The slide is sturdy and even has a little inflatable pad down at the bottom so kids will have a softer landing. The only thing I don't like is that there is a drain/hole (without a plug) in the deeper wading pool so you can't really keep the water deeper in there. I guess the only real reason for the "deeper" pool is to support the slide. Not really a big deal though, and I understand that it is a safety feature. The inflatable toys that came with the pool are very cute, too. Especially the turtle! My daughter loves the turtle and the bells that are inside. I'm sure once they are older they will enjoy the ring toss. I especially like that there is enough room for me to sit in the pool with my daughter and my son still has enough room of his own to splash around. Definitely the best pool I found and I looked at A LOT of inflatable pools online before I bought this one! I am very happy with my choice! I also bought the intex electric air pump and it filled up the pool within a matter of minutes. I definitely recommend getting an electric pump. There are several different air chambers to fill on this pool and it would be quite a workout with a manual pump. I only put 4 stars for durability just because the palm tree and one side of the slide deflated a little bit after a day. I think I may not have put enough air in that side of the slide to begin with, though. However, The sides are still firm after a week! I put 3 stars for educational, only because I view this as more of a "just for fun" toy, not an educational one. :)

This product is serving us well! I ordered it on a whim b/c it was at a great price, and the hot summer was looming during some unseasonally hot days in April. My only complaint would be the lack of a pump. I could have sworn the ad mentioned an included pump, but after further review, I must have been seeing things. I went against the manufacturers warnings and used my compressor. Even with a pump, there is no way I would have blown this thing up by hand. Just be mindful of what you are doing if you use a compressor and you'll be fine. Enough whinning, let's talk about the pool! Our daughter is 2 1/2 and loves it. The sprinkler gets to be too much for her, but it is optional, so we just turn it off when she doesn;t like it. She loves to "swim" all around (swimming means crawling on hands and knees!) and the slide is a fun side dish. It is not the main course and I wouldn't recommend buying it just for that. As for durability, that remains to be seen. So far so good, and I get a sense it is well made, and the materials feel strong. We had some strong winds the last few days, and the thing got blown around the yard a bit when it was empty. It took the punishment just fine. If it survives the summer, it pays for itself as far as I'm concerned. For the price, and free shipping, it gets a big thumb's up from me!

I just bought this for my 1.5 year old. Both he and his 1 year old cousin love it! It says it's for 3+ years, but in my opinion this is perfect for 1 year olds and up. I was skeptical about getting an inflatable pool due to the risk of holes and it being easily punctured, but it seems to be durable enough. We set it up last night, and I was pleasantly surprised that it held all its air the next day, never needed re-inflating. I am not sure how long it will last, but I am confident that we'll at least get one season out of it. Defintely worth the purchase for the hot summer months. PROS: -Inflated easily with a hair dryer. (Note that the hole doesn't actually fit a hair dryer, but we didn't have a pump, so we tried it and it worked fine). Inflated in less than 5-10 minutes. -Has a drain hole in both larger splash pool and smaller inner pool. -Has a secondary drain hole in the inter pool so it won't overflow. -Able to control height of the sprinklers with a valve. *I especially like this feature* CONS: -The hook up to the hose leaks, wasting water (note: not sure if this is my hose's problem or the pool's hook up). -Palm tress does not inflate enough to stand upright. I would recommend this purchase, and have nothing to complain about.

I bought this pool for my 19 month old daughter. I was a little hesitant because there were several reviews claiming that their product had arrived with holes in it. Well I took a chance on it just being their mishandling of the product and perhaps they were the ones creating the holes. This is not the case! The much anticipated pool arrived, and I immediately went and filled it up with the air compressor. My little girl was very excited. We started to fill up the pool...within minutes I noticed the palm tree was beginning to droop and my heart sank. Sure enough, within the hour the entire thing was flat. I had been very careful upon opening the package and also had a bought a tarp to place the pool upon to keep it from being punctured by anything on the ground. I was very angry. To add to my frustration I need to mention that the bottom of this pool is very slick. I had not read this in previous reviews, and felt I should mention it. My little girl and both of her friends continually fell in the pool until I bought some of those skid stickers for the bathtub and placed in the bottom of it. Ok back to the main issue. My dad had showed me an old trick one time..you put soapy water in a squirt bottle and spray all over the inflated parts of the pool after you have inflated it, and tada, everywhere there is a hole it forms bubbles and makes a whistling sound. Upon doing this to my 3 hour old pool and after patching 9 holes with the handy dandy patch that comes with the pool I felt we were ready for a test drive. I reinflated the pool and added the water and it has been two weeks and still no problems. My daughter loves, loves, loves this pool and it really is perfect for what she needed at home. However if you purchase this item be prepared to put 2-3 hours into patching the holes. Other than that I have no complaints. Oh and I read on some reviews that the slide was useless, but I filled this pool up with an air compressor and my little one weighs 32 lbs and the slide works great.

My kids LOVE this pool. I bought it last year and decided to wait until I used it for a while before writing a review. After being packed away for the winter, it got a hole somewhere just in the yellow outer wall, but the small pool and slide were fine. I tried to locate the leak but decided it too much trouble as it was stored in our dirty garage and I wanted to start with a fresh new one. I tried to shop around amazon to see if there was a better pool instead of just getting the same one, but nothing came even close. The bright colors and pictures on the bottom just attract children! We had this set up next to a regular round inflatable pool and the children just gravitate to it and completely ignored the other boring pool. The slide is very useful and mostly the kids just slide and walk around and slide again, and because it's a pool within a pool, when they go around to slide again they don't track any dirt into the water so the pool stays cleaner than one where you have to get out of the water to slide again. Whoever said their kids were too heavy for the slide is crazy, my kids weight 30-35lbs and it gives them a great rush as they slide down into the water below, they laugh and laugh and literally RUN around to do it again. It is just the right depth for all ages (I have 4 and 2 yr old, last summer they were 1 and 300000). I am buying this one again for sure. Also the floaty ring toss, whale and turtle that come with are used a lot and are a great addition. Not to mention the built in sprinkler along the outer tube where the pressure can be adjusted for you child's temperament is great. You get quite a bang for your buck with this pool, and it's just set up in a way that makes the kids want to play in it for hours.

This is my first review on Amazon, which should show how much I dislike this product. First, let me say that out of the box everything looked great and it held air. My kids love this thing! I discovered a problem when I first drained the pool. When all of the water was out, I tried to move it but couldn't, as there was water in there that I couldn't see. It turns out the water that was running through the sprayers leaked into the air chamber. So the only way to get the water out and move the pool was to deflate the main chamber and then attempt to drain the water. To use it again, I had to reinflate it and the same problem reoccurred. I was exactly one day outside the Amazon return window, so I decided to call Intex as I figured I couldn't be the only person with this problem. The call center was clearly outside the U.S. as the operator struggled to understand my fairly simple problem. It wasn't her fault, but she was clearly being fed prompts from a computer in an attempt to troubleshoot my problem. Eventually she became frustrated and tried to end the call by saying "everything is working, any questions, thank you for calling." I continued to insist that the item needed to be replaced so she put me on hold. When she came back she apologized and said that there was no warranty for this item so there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor but she said they were not allowed to transfer calls. Personally I am done buying Intex products. This is not the first poorly made item from them that I have come across, and their customer service was the worst I have ever encountered. Fortunately Amazon was more understanding and agreed to refund me, which is why I will continue to shop Amazon, just not for Intex products. It's a shame because this is a great pool with a major flaw that Intex will not address.
