I love this. Stained it gray to match my cabinets. Used mineral oil on the top which really brought out the nice grain. The wheels could be a bit more heavy duty, but still fine.

    • Smells funny - like vinegar
I am pleased with this purchase. I have it in my pantry as a stand for my small appliances (I hate counter-clutter). The wood top is nice. I feel like it is good quality. It was easy to assemble. The only downside is that it smelled for a few months like vinegar. It took me a week or so to unpack the box, and even when it was in the shipping box, it was smelly. I bought this for my daughter’s kitchen in her tiny first apartment. It fits perfectly in the little nook next to her range and provides storage and extra counter space… I wish I had pics of the piece in her apartment. My mom and I stained the bottom pieces a dark charcoal gray and assembled it together. It was a fun afternoon project to do together. I bought this to fill a specific niche in my unusual kitchen. The kitchen will be remodeled soon, so I didn't want to invest in an expensive piece. My priority was price, and as such my expectations for this piece were pretty low. The item lives up to my expectations...barely. It's the advertised size(important), fairly easy to assemble if you can read directions, and is sturdy ENOUGH for my needs. I'm knocking off 2 stars, tho, since the rails that support the drawer action are simple 1/4" wood strips stapled to the carcass and, surprisingly, one broke. Fixing was a simple matter, complicated only by the fact that the strips are narrow enough to require predrilling the nail holes to ensure they didn't split again. Overall it does what it was purchased to do acceptably. Honestly, even then, I think it's overpriced for what you get, but beggars can't be choosers. ... show more
