Love the concept for this product and one I have made DIY before. I love that the cloth strips are connected inside so you don't have random strips of cloth all over the house to then find and collect. The downside is the opens are mostly very tight. While this seems good in theory, I found I could only fit 2-3 pieces of kibble rolled up tightly into the strip and barely stuff enough into the hole to hold it in place. With smaller kibble though I imagine it would fit much better. I would also warn to supervise older pups that like to chew cloth as my 1 yr old aussie severed 2 strips off before I realized. He enjoyed the toy very much though, so that's what counts! The rubber itself is very durable and will last far longer than the cloth. Lastly, it comes with a set of 3 jingle bells??? The package labels these as a treat for the pet, but I personally feel they are more of a swallow hazard and not sturdy enough to put on a collar as 1 of the suggestions. Definitely could do without the bells. Otherwise, great product and would order again!

My pup was able to remove the felt pieces from the ball. All of the pieces came out together in a giant glob so they just aren't attached well inside the ball.

While watching my dog figure out this toy, I'm seeing his IQ numbers growing by the minute. I would have lost interest long before he did, but the challenge was far too great for him to abandon the treats that were hidden within. It also occurred to me that we may be training our dog how to break into things. Hummm, is the trade-off worth is? Of course it is. Love to watch him problem solve. He did eventually figure out how to disassemble the toy and get to the treats. His next venture with this toy was over in a fraction of the time. We were happy to see that absent treats, our dog still enjoyed carrying around this toy and chewing on it. The ribbons appear to be too irresistible not to play with. Happy with this dog toy as is my pupper.
