I have all kinds of hydroponics systems in my home, but always wanted an outdoor unit. I had looked at this type of system before, but never acquired one, until now. When assembling, I highly recommend aligning the parts first, then tapping them together with a rubber mallet. You do NOT need PVC cement! This system will not leak, if assembled correctly. You will only need a reservoir (bought one, drilled two holes in it, and filled it with hydroponic nutrient water at 1.2EC), and your grow sponges (I cut down the standard grow sponges and seed them myself). The system has been working perfectly and I'm very happy with the results I'm getting. Highly recommended, especially for Amazon's low listed selling price.
