I Love the original but it's kind of pricey for my wallet these days so I thought I'd try this. It does pretty much smell like the original, however, it does have an overtone scent like what I've always called "granny perfume" I don't know exactly how to explain except kind of a peppery or musk type scent that is noticeable right off (at least on me) but the rest of the scent is almost identical to the original. The "granny perfume/musk scent" Does seem to go away after a while of wearing the perfume. I usually spray one good/solid squirt at the back of my neck right into the hairline. Everyone smells different with different scents so you'll just have to try this yourself. There's a couple of knock off scents I don't care for. (For example I don't like original CK One on women but I really like it on men. I know...weird lol) I personally like it which is why I gave it 5 stars. I thought about 4 cuz of the initial musk type scent but it did go away after wearing it for a little while. I have had the scent last an entire day. ... show more

To me, this smells like Amazing Grace did when it launched. New new ownership at philosophy has changed the scents slightly and they no longer last all day. This lasts ALL DAY. I have used the "true 'Angel" perfume for over 15 years.OUTSTANDING, very very expensive(but worth it to where on special ocasions...Now retired, I just can't see spending well over $100 plus, no matter HOW beautiful and catching the scent is.So I decided to try the "imitation by this company.I am VERY pleased, as the scent is almost 100 % like the original.It "doesn't last "as long"...As the true original can be smell weeks later on your clothing in your closet, seriously!) I’m so happy with this perfume. I have been using Amazing Grace by Philosophy for a while now and my 11yr old started to use it too like a body spray lol! Needless to say she used up all of it and couldn’t justify the $90 price tag for a new bottle of the original and came across this one at a fraction for a much bigger bottle and I’m glad to say this smells heavenly it’s not so watered down or even too strong smells just like the original and lasts long. To me it smells like bug spray but she likes it. It's very over powering. If course my wife puts a ton on buz she says it doesn't last long. But surprisingly when she comes out of the bathroom after putting it on I can't smell it on her. I can smell it an hour or two later when I walk into the bathroom. It smacks ya right in the face. The other knock off brand is better. I'm glad mine is reasonable priced and I don't go through it. 2 squirts will do ya if that. I 💜 my Cool Water for women. I haven't smelled the original VS fragrance so I can't say if this is similar. I do think this smells really good though! There is definitely a fresh smell that reminds me of detergent or carpet deodorizer but I'm not mad at it. I also get something woody and I swear I can smell fresh apples & peels. I bought this to try out because I saw some people say this also works as a mosquito repellant, that is still to be determined but I will update this review when I try that out. ... show more

I bought this cheap version of the original Angel perfume and the smell is a 9 out of 10, the thing is it doesn't stay long. This is a Eau de toilette version, but still 1 hour after spraying all over and the scent is practically gone. I would give the scent 5 stars is almost like the original, longevity 1 star and value for the money 3 stars. If you like to smell like Angel is great, but keep it on you purse to reapply everytime you need. ... show more

The Mugler Angel one is a VERY good match. Best dupe for Mugler Angel so far that I’ve been able to find. It doesn’t last as long as the real deal but it’s still great & definitely worth the $7. Straight out of the box it will have kind of an alcohol smell to it. Don’t let that scare you off. Perfumes/colognes take a few days to acclimate to the climate after being shipped and the scent will change to how it’s supposed to be after 4-5 days. It’s odd but it happens with most fragrances. I’ve purchased this twice already & will probably purchase a third just to have a backup. I spray it more like a body spray due to it not lasting as long as the name brand real deal, but it’s the best dupe so far. ... show more
