This food is not only good for cats but also ferrets. It is very high protein which is good because ferrets (like cats) are obligate carnivores meaning their bodies can't process plants like fruits and vegetables and grains. I have heathen crack rats aka ferrets that won't stay out of the cat food. So this works perfect for when they are snagging a bite to eat while running around the house. Ferrets fur is healthier along with great health in my cats .
