I used the trigger to paint cast iron railings. They worked well and it was easier than using the standard can nozzle. But don't drop the trigger handle. The plastic is not very thick and it will crack if dropped frequently.

    • How Did I Go through Life Without This?
In case it is not already abundantly clear, this does not replace the button nozzle on your paint can. It fits into the upper groove of your paint can and it pushes down on your button nozzle as you squeeze the trigger. I did not understand this when I bought it, and if I had known that, I would have been too skeptical to buy it...because how could something so clunky give the fine control needed for a paint can? But I would have been wrong! Because this thing is magical! No more painted fingers and no more sore fingers. ... show more

    • Doesn’t work on all spray cans
Tried using it on a Minwax clear coat spray can and it starts spraying as soon as you put it on. Perhaps the spray button on the Minwax is taller than other sprays.

Only small issue is it is a little hard to install on the spray can, but that's due to it being tight. Otherwise it works very smoothly. Sprayed six cans in one hour, no finger fatigue. Allowed me to concentrate on getting the paint applied smoothly, not the fact my finger was getting sore and weak. Will always use this tool when spray painting. ... show more
