    • It always catches the scene
It is heavy and feels well built. There are a lot of accessories for it. Video quality is good. Battery life is way better than on my hero 5 session. You can get more batteries for it. You can get additional memory cards for it. The issue is editing the videos. There is a free app. If you have a computer from 2012, then you will immediately be tempted to buy a more powerful computer. I would say I7 processor at least and 16 GB ram with a good graphics card are needed. I have an old I5 with 8GB ram, and it will not play the video. It just starts and stops and stutters and freezes. You can still use the app if you don’t hit the play button. Just click in the slider to find the area that you want to edit and save the changes. You can watch it later…after it is exported as an mp4. The camera/battery gets hot if you run it for long periods, unless you are using it on a motorcycle or hanging it out of the car. Mine doesn’t get hot while riding at all. We used for a stroll through a flower garden and it got hot enough to shut itself off. When it cooled down I check to see how much battery was left and it had over half a charge left and worked fine. ... show more

I love this camera and I've only used the basic features of this camera. I do wish I spent extra $300 to get the Insta360 X5 but I'm still satisfied with this camera. I love the 360° feature. I especially LOVE the voice activation feature. I've reviewed the Youtube feedback and I had no issue activating the camera using my voice to take pictures, record video or even shut down the camera. People looked at me during my snowtrip but people were more amazed with the voice activation rather than thinking it's dumb. I can see the shock and awe of the voice activation feature. Highly recommended. The only downside is the battery that came with the camera. I had to buy the extra 3rd party batteries that worked better. ... show more

I totally love this camera, and the grate perks it has, and everything I can do with it, perhaps the only thing is the lens protectors, they aren't very good and the surface got scratched, and that cause I used them on a construction site, but other than that is grate product, the lenses protector can be polished or put a different protector. ... show more

I got into this camera after seeing someone recorded their wedding with it, so i thought i would do the same! Which i did! Set it up on a tripod and let it do all the work! Only thing is, editing all the 360 footage is a major pain. Lol. The camera itself is small and light but very clean and clear! I had some issues with the streaming feature though. But there are a ton of Youtube videos on how to fix it. ... show more

the camera was good for a minute.......the problem is the customer service...my camera desided one day it just didnt want to stay powered on and would shut off after a few seconds....it didnt matter if it was plugged in or on battery it did the same thing.....i was told it would be covered by the warenty....thats great since i bought a longer one for that....but i sent it in and they told me nothing was wrong with the power but yet it was doing the same thing to them.....then i get over ran by emails of them wanting to fix the scratched lenses that was too scratched for the camera to see anything????WTF???......nothing was scratched when i sent it in and now they said they cant fix that under warenty and it must have been from shipping......the box it was in was padded way better then when they sent it to me so no way shipping did it.......now they just keep sending me bs emails and not sending me my dam cam back.......this camers is not worth the price for bs like this......find a different one...insta 360 customer service is a complete joke ... show more

I got this camera primarily for the fact I can be in my videos with minimal set up and editing. I take it everywhere with me and use it all the time. Excellent 360 camera. App is good everything works as it should. Build quality is great!

Insta360 did a great job giving all of us a solid, easy to use, and watchable system for making and posting videos. It's like having a second person acting as cameraman while you enjoy an activity, forgetting the camera altogether as it films you and everything around you.
