(ONLY) Buy direct from Insta360,as you can see in the video the (focus) ring when turned has a (loud) clicking / cracking when barley turned ( NOT) supposed to happen on these lenses so is this used? Or a manufacture defect….

    • 🔥an expensive paperweight📸
An expensive paperweight…After spending almost 500 dollars on this kit— insta360ace pro 2 it was would be nice to have the close up lens availabe… (not in stock but since Christmas selling out within hours because the standard lens is quite mediocre in many ways)… not particularly good at distance nor close range such as portraits, selfies or streaming… there is no flash available, the hotshoe is not hot…if sharp images are yr thing- this camera is not for you…don’t believe the hype— this is not a leica in any way… not even the lens quality…the insta360 ace pro2 is a complex and delicate high tech toy beyond yr average need…. The bundle was due on the 18th of December but didnt arrive until well into January… cutting any return time in two… the camera is not operable without a memory card ( 50 dollars for half a tb) and yesterday after taking maybe 160 pics the camera began to glitch citing corrupted files… i360 is all about the upsell, charging for everything ( do you want cloud storage— pay here) …and marketing and slick advertising … at its core is a chinese tech company and not a camera company built upon decades of service to the photo company… i dont want to beg for a return, nor ante up for another card. the websight is oblique and nebulous and virtually no help at all… all i wanted was a decent and fun camera… the question is… who wants to do r+d for a heartless, faceless company who doent have a stategy for the noment… who sells cameras without a functional lens…(the “leica color recipes” are very flat and non dynamic…) i first printed photos in a darkroom since the age if 9 and kept ones for several years, studying photography in college as well i know what a full image … i know…the contrast and richness if color is not there. There is no grey scale such as the zone system might allow…knowing this, why has product availability become an issue..if you make 50,000 units, you should expect to sell all the swag and essential equipment and distribution ready to go… this product feels rushed and not ready for market…. Most of the images are blurry really not a professional at all it is “pro” in name only… at the moment i feel slightly ripped off and duped…. I take thousands of pictures annually and realy have yet to enjoy this camera at it’s potential… i didnt drop it, or anything weird— it does not function properly and has been a waste of of both time and money… caveat empor: buyer beware! ... show more
