This thing is VERY well built. Humans generally can't make such beautiful welds. I'm sure they were done by a robot. It's engineered well with gussets in appropriate places. All the steel used is beefy, which makes the tool heavy. However, it gives me confidence that it can do the intended job for the rest of my life. Fit and finish is excellent. Powder coating seems to be of high quality. But does it work? Hell yes. Def spend the extra two bucks and get the model with the hinged pushers. They rotate so they are always pushing on the whole board flatly, instead of contacting it at an angle which can split the board. I was even able to remove boards that were already split, without splitting them any further! that's a far cry from what a flat bar can do. Sow, It took me 15-20 minutes to tear one down with a flat bar, it takes me 5 min with this tool. Just 5 minutes! Pair this with a pneumatic nail pusher (which by the way works fine on staples) and tearing down a pallet is no longer a chore. ... show more

This is the best thing to break pallets down with. I wasn't sure at first, read all reviews and thought well I'll try it. Came in today and have already broke 2 pallets down. It's super easy to use, so don't hesitate... buy it. It's well worth the money.

This Pallet Buster is one piece. Very well made and I think will take and give pallets a licking with not a whole lot of effort. The joints of all the pieces are very well put together and the welds are very smooth. It has a weight of about 8 pounds. The only thing that I was not really impressed with was when I ordered it the shipping on was like 2 weeks. But once the order was completed it was more like 6 weeks. This was corrected shortly after that to about 3 weeks. Overall very good buy, and I don't think it will break. But, just in case I bought an extended warranty to cover anything that might happen to it in the next 4 years! If you want to use something of quality I would recommend this pallet buster. Recycle those pallets and save some money on the wood. ... show more

This tool is solid. I cleared over 500 sq feet of screwed in old deck boards in about 4 hours. Highly recommend this product for anyone like me in the trade who does deck. Definitely saves time and effort in deck demolition.
