Writing review after good 4 months use I was very excited to buy this product . I got my kitchen dream product but was very disappointed for the following reason. 1. When you tear the paper towel there is no frame inside to hold the paper towel so it does not stay straight so it mess up the paper towel alignment. This is the deal braker and it also causes the 2nd issue. 2. On/Off paper towel opens up inside so it looses its dispense width. 3. Its not all steel but the bottom rounded portion is made of plastics. I should have rather invested in this https://www.amazon.com/Clean-Touchless-Paper-Towel-Dispenser/dp/B003NR5GSS I just felt its waist of money and they should have thought

I have had this Automatic Paper towel Dispenser for just over a year and it is starting to fall apart, I have send emails to the Company and no response, I am very upset because I believe I have a warranty and not able to speak to someone to get it replaced, it was awesome when it worked and just stared falling apart, every time we fill it and close it pieces from the back started breaking off and just brakes every time, soo unfortunate! Customer Service is not at all good.

DO NOT BUY!!!! It stop working and it hasn’t been a year. I purchased the warranty thru square trade. The best option they have is to reimburse you but not the full price. The other option is to send you a “like new” or used device but there’s no warranty for that replacement. It’s complete BS!!! I also called the manufacturer warranty and they said it’s not covered because I bought it thru Amazon and the Square Trade warranty so all warranty is thru Square Trade. The only way the manufacturer will owner their warranty if I purchase it directly from them. Pros: I like that it dispense half sheet paper towel and retracts back if there are extra that were dispensed. It’s very easy to install. Cons: It doesn’t dispense the paper towel as fast as it shown on the video; you have to take your hand out of the sensor and back to the sensor for more paper towels (it doesn’t dispense continuously it you keep your hand in front of the sensor); the material is plastic makes it look cheap; it’s overpriced. Overall, it’s convenient to have but hoping it will last. I did buy the 4yrs warranty just in case based the other reviews.

Purchased several of these units (5) and have absolutely loved each one for home use and as gifts. However, one bought last November 26th developed a problem early this November. I had a difficult time reaching Innovia Home through their email contact address, as well as their telephone #, so I decided finally to contact Amazon Customer Service. As usual, the came through with flying colors. They arranged to patch me through directly to Barbara @ Innovia Home Customer who was fantastic to work with in resolving my issue. She was also quite concerned with my difficulties in reaching Innovia Home directly. She said she would advise the site developers, and all concerned about the inability to get through the email address posted on the website, address the situation with contact telephone # also. Please be aware, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. DON'T GIVE UP! Innovia does care and will make things right if something is wrong!

Okay this is the 2nd one of these i've gone through in 2 years! I love the product but it doesn't seem to last very long! The first one i purchased lasted about 1.5 years (and some piece of plastic broke off inside and honked up the motor) but the 2nd just crapped out after just under 6 months of use (motor is struggling to work). I've contacted the seller to see if they will work with me to replace this 2nd defective unit. I really wish this product was built to last because when it works it's fantastic! But i'm not spending another 100$ on something that doesn't last! In a few other reviews, i've seen similar stories on it breaking quickly :(

So, despite some of the reviews, I decided to give this thing a try. It came in a new box and all the parts were there including the plug in power adapter which we are using versus batteries. There was no damage to the unit and it was the correct color. My husband installed it in 10-15 minutes. He just taped the template onto the bottom of the cabinet and drilled a few of the holes, screwed the top plate through those holes, then drilled the rest of the holes through the top plate so everything aligned perfectly. We did plug it in and made sure it worked BEFORE we started drilling holes. I put paper towels in following instructions and it works perfectly. I use Sam's Club select a size paper towels - not sure if those are considered the "larger" rolls, but they work fine. When you put the roll of paper towels in it, you have to leave some hanging out of the top - it will suck the extra back into the unit. It is important to get the roll in straight when you first put it in or the towels will come out crooked. Wave hand in front of sensor, then tear off at half size sheet. From that point on, when you wave your hand in front of the sensor, only a half size sheet will come out. If you leave your hand in front of the sensor, it will spit out up to 5 half size sheets. It is easy to reset to a full size sheet if you want. The towels come out quickly. You have to tear it off pretty quick or it gets sucked back into the unit - that is my only concern and there may be a way to adjust this but I have not tried to figure that out yet. A sheet in the box has instructions for registering the product online. If you do so right away, you then get a 2 year warranty instead of just a 1 year warranty. I did not purchase an extended warranty. We usually never do for products because my husband is pretty handy and can fix almost anything. As far as it lasting very long, I cannot speak to that issue since I just got it today.....so we will see. Hopefully will not need the warranty. UPDATE: It is Nov and it is still working great - no issues at all.
