If you just want a comfortable skate for the rink then these should be fine. They were smooth to skate in and don't slide around on the rink. Most of my issues were derby related. If you are looking for skates for derby you should pass on these as there are a few things that were off for me. If you're new to derby I recommend visiting a local skate shop and getting more info and/or fitted for skates. You don't have to buy right then, but they can help you figure out what you should be looking for. Back to this product. -The skates are comfortable, but don't fit as snug as I needed for roller derby. -The trucks (things the wheels attach to and control your turning) came much looser than recommended by my instructors for new skaters and after a couple uses I could hear one of the trucks rattle when I shook my foot which meant it was going to fall off soon. Fortunately you can just tighten those up. -The toe stops are replaceable, but not adjustable. Adjustable toe stops are very helpful in derby unless your toe stops happen to be at the perfect height naturally. ... show more

fit very well, comfortable. desperately needs new bearings. I went with rollerbones. wheels that came with the skates were medium softness outdoor wheels.

I just got them ! I like them so far recommended them to 2 other people. I bought them for myself I wear a woman's 9 and bought a men's 8 and they fit perfectly. I haven't been on skates in years but these definitely are nice. They are a bit heavy but the ride is smooth the bearings seem to be good ones .. the wheels seem to be good quality. Padding inside is great! I think the only thing I'd change is the stopper. That's a easy fix .. I had bought ones when I was a kid and built them. These are definitely a close 2nd. ... show more

A decent skate for a good price. The skate boot is good quality. The wheels could use a little more grip and didn't come with a skate tool to loosen the wheels but all in all I give them four stars out of five

I purchased these skates to try out roller derby. I have used them less than 10 times and there is already significant wear and tear. Today the laces broke and I suspect the velcro straps will break next. There is also significant wear on the toe. If you are buying these to try roller derby I would suggest also buying a toe cap and better laces from the beginning. I am ordering those items now to extend the life of these skates, but I know I will need new skates pretty soon. ... show more
