The fence was very sturdy through 2 hurricanes. It also serves as a meaningful barrier between my yard and the neighbors yard. I have cats and the neighbors have dogs. Now the cats look at the fence and laugh, but dogs respect it - lol! It also looks great and does what I need it to do.

I got this to use as a barrier in front of my garage to keep my dog from getting out when I was working in the garage with the door open. I thought this would be a good solution since the description says it can be used "as an indoors pet play pen" and assumed that meant it could be set up without staking it in the ground. Unfortunately, it really isn't designed in a way where it remains sturdy without it being staked into the earth. The way it is assembled is you insert thin wire rods vertically into the wire loops on the end of each fence panel, and that rod joins them and serves as a hinge point allowing the panels to be configured at different angles. But those rods are also the stakes that stabilize the fence, so after you insert the rods through the holes you have to push them into the earth to hold them in place. If you insert them on solid ground they don't go all the way in and the rod sticks up over the top of the fence several inches. This means there is nothing holding the fence upright except if you zig zag the fence panels into a shape that allows it to hold itself upright somewhat. But it's not stable at all and a slight push knocks it over. It's also a pain to move the fence around once it's assembled because there is no way to lock the rods in place. They simply stay in place by gravity, and if you allow the fence to tip at all while arranging it the rods go sliding out and the fence comes completely apart. It's just a terrible design flaw that should have been caught. To be fair, this fence is decent enough if you want to use it on soft ground where it can be staked down and you're not going to move it very often. If you want to use it on a hard surface, it's barely functional. And if you're going to move it frequently, dealing with the constant headache of the rods falling out is extremely frustrating and makes it more trouble than I think it's worth.

I'm on my third set. I love these garden fence kits. It's sturdy, pretty, and does the job. It keeps the rabbits and other small critters out of garden and deters the deer. It's easy to install and if they made them taller, I'd use it on my entire property. Great value! Can't beat this!!!
