Description

The IS Series intake system is a traditional, under hood intake system. By reducing turbulence in the pipe and providing a less restrictive flow through the high performance filter, each short ram intake system is engineered to provide improved horsepower and torque gains over the stock setup. Each system is built from 6061, T-6 aluminum alloy to ensure the lightest design possible. Most IS system is certified or pending by the California Air Resource Board and backed by Injen Technology’s limited lifetime warranty.

Faultless quality, great product fit on the 2002 Lexus SC430. It adds a rumble that is intoxicating. The sound kicks in at higher revs which I like because it doesn't take away from the Lexus luxury experience. I have mine matted to a Megan racing y pipe and magnaflow cat back system.Gives it a deep sound and performance wise you will see most gains at the top of the powerband. This gave my Lexus v8 a great roar through the rpms especially at high rpms. Not annoying at all and quite addictive to hear so try not to get any speeding tickets.

Install took about 45 mins; directions could have been a little more clear. Everything I needed came in the box, and it was packed very well. Engine sounds much better now, and has inspired me to upgrade the exhaust system.

Very nice but pipe came with scratches on it and hoses are not perfect fit or near and comes with barely any hardware but works once you get it figured out

Fit my 06 (later model) perfect just needed 2 vacuum caps. Sounds great, will pull hot air if you dont make a heat shield or redirect some ducting.

This product bolts right on w no problems... I installed it on my 06 gs 430 and it fit just fine. Only thing is u need to buy two small little plastic covers for the two outlets that would normally be used in the 01 - 03 models. however can pick these up along with a couple small zip ties to hold all the new hoses and plug covers on at your local hardware store... ... show more

After purchasing and installing this intake on my 2001 Lexus GS430, I noticed a different in sound and performance output. While losing low-end torque, the high-RPM power is amazing. The car gets a real low rumble with this product paired with my aftermarket exhaust.
