Pretty easy to assemble....and inflate. The straps would be easier if they were snap buckles but but once you find the spot you want just back buckle them. The fabric doesn't seem real durable like some other floats I've purchased so I am hesitant to leave them out in the weather too long. They are comfortable, really comfortable to float around in. The floating pads comes separate and it’s easy to assemble….i love how it works exactly as I needed it to be, where my lower body is mostly in the water while sitting.
