I purchased this board to go paddleboarding in Hawaii. Pumping up the board was quite tedious and took my husband and I about 10 minutes tag-teaming, but once it got blown up to pressure, it was surprisingly very stable and hard - like an actual board. You couldn't even tell it was inflatable at that point! It worked perfectly and our friends and kids (1 adult and 2 5-year old kids) had a blast taking it out. This set comes with everything you need, with the leash and convenient handles for transport when it's inflated. The board itself (when not inflated) is really heavy to carry for me, even with the backpack straps. We typically bring a wagon to the beach so the weight isn't an issue for us, but I'd opt for a smaller board if it's a long way for you to carry from your car to the water. Just be careful about leaving it out in the sun for extended periods. The instructions specifically say to periodically check the pressure during hot weather. Our board was fine, but the guy next to us had an inflatable paddleboard also that wasn't so lucky - his inflatable paddleboard popped. ... show more

Easy to transport, breaks down beautifully and inflates quickly even with the pump. Used it for yoga in the ocean. I'd say it's a 3 out of 5 for stability. 5 out of 5 for compact. 4 out of 5 for fun to use.
