I wish I had this sooner. This works great and super easy to install. The white bulb on the end is the inflater, you squeeze it about 20 - 40 times and it's fully inflated. It lifts one end of the crib mattress about 3 inches when pumped full, just enough to help reduce congestion while sleeping. I leave it under the mattress and just deflate it when my baby isn't sick. You don't have to inflate all the way either if you want less incline. She did wiggle sideways a few times and roll to the other end of the crib, but no harm done.

A slight lift in the head of the crib is so helpful for so many reasons. This was easy to install and use and is certainly easier to store when not in use than a larger and longer wedge pillows. It is only a slight lift - which still helps but could also be achieved with a towel or other smaller blanket on hand.

It's easy to inflate/deflate with a hand pump on the mattress, fits a standard size crib, and provides a slight incline that's not drastic. This is such a great baby item and would make the perfect baby shower gift. It’s something you never knew you needed until you have it and then can’t live without it. It’s super easy to use but makes such a difference. My baby always had troubles laying flat especially after nursing but I was too afraid to put anything in the crib to elevate her and I wish I would’ve known about this back then!

I put this under my 1-year-old's mattress in the crib. Inflating it takes a few minutes, but easy. I put my baby down to sleep but when I went back in to put my other kids to bed, the baby had moved around (wasn't fully asleep when put down), so I deflated it. Deflating is easier and faster than inflating and didn't wake up the baby with the air hissing out, so that was nice. The next night I moved it to my 7-year-old's bed, under the 3-inch mattress (no springs). That worked out better since that kid doesn't move around. So I see this being very beneficial to use when a non-active-at-night-kid-with-a-thin-mattress is sick and needs to be elevated. Or with a young baby who needs to be upright just a little to sleep better because of GERD or something. I had to create an incline for all my babies and this seems safer than using blankets or towels. The only thing I'm not a fan of is having to leave the pump part out and exposed where it might get hit or something. But it's nice you can just leave it there and inflate/deflate when needed.

This isn't a dramatic angled wedge by any means, but it does the job well. It took me about 30 seconds to get it aired up which is good. It is a bit loud airing up so if you have dogs, they may think you've just bought them a new, big squeaky toy. One thing that baffled me was that you air it up with the plug out. If you try to air it up with the plug in, the pump will sink in and won't come back out. Don't be like me and actually read the instructions first to know how it is intended to work. The material feels thick and high quality so I don't have any worries that it will tear or anything. Makes a little noise if there's a lot of pressure on it, but that is to be expected. Overall a high quality product that I feel serves its purpose and does it well.

This product works great for elevating a crib mattress. My son was dealing with some infant reflux and our doc suggested elevating the head end of the crib mattress just a bit. It has seemed to help. It’s nice that this is inflatable, so you can adjust how much the mattress is elevated by adding more or less air. Do check with your pediatrician before using something like this, and make sure you put it UNDER your crib mattress so there is no chance of it being a choking hazard.
