This fender fills with air and is very durable, it is make of a thick rubbery material that seems impervious to damage. They are a bit heavy, but it is worth it for the amount of cushion they provide. Super value.

These are big but also very thick material and work great as fenders with the advantage I can deflate them. They stay inflated very well and we've already had some encounters with docks where there was a lot of pressure - but these never lost inflation and the thickness of the material was super for protecting our boat. Very happy with these.

I've got a 35 foot boat so I need 2 of these 20" by 53" marine fenders. The build quality of these fenders looks very good. All seams are heat welded so there's no glue used. It has 2 large stainless steel D-rings so you can hang them horizontally. It has an inflation valve with a twist on connection if your pump has that capability. If not, it comes with an adapter for other types of inflation pumps. Depending on the size of your air pump, you can inflate this pretty quickly. If storage room is an issue, they can easily be deflated and folded into a compact size. I live in a town on Lake Michigan and when I'm tied up on the sea wall, strong winds can cause a lot of pitching in the water. These are one of the only types of fenders that I've found that can consistently handle the big movements. Also, I like the light gray color over the black in terms of possible scuff marks. Overall, a good solid quality marine fender for the price. Definitely recommended. My rating method: 1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. 2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. 3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. 4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. 5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

I ordered this fender to use on a 74 ft riverboat. I have a full set of large fenders for the boat but specifically wanted one that was designed to be blown up and quickly deflated. It comes with an insertable valve for pumping it up. And, I use my manual pump from my inflatable dinghy to pump it. I ordered the largest one available, yet I can quickly deflate it and roll it up for storage. They should consider adding an integrated strap to wrap it once it's rolled up to store. The material is first class and the manufacturing quality is great. It has two D rings - one on each end. This allows it to be hung horizontally. My other fenders are designed to be hung vertically only. This one can be hung either way. This is a very heavy duty product, and, I would definitely order this again.

20 foot pontoon, which means you're often rafting up with other boats. The regular size bumpers are fine at the dock, this one would be better off course but when rafting up, bigger is better. Boats get knocked around but over boats paying by etc so the extra size and durability is a huge plus. Blows up easy, came with enough time up line, is really quite functional and great value for the money. Thank you and recommended

I chose the “Big Bertha” size for my 40’ catamaran live aboard. I have a few inflatable fenders because the harder plastic ones seem to slip out of place sometimes when the current or wind direction changes. The inflatable fenders have been MUCH more reliable when I am at dock. Inflatable fenders are not convenient when coming INTO a dock, as they are not as easy to quickly maneuver and a lot of docks have barnacle build up that could slice through the PVC if the boat is actively moving. BUT - once you’ve arrived, there is a huge benefit to using the inflatable fenders. Huge. Speaking of huge, that’s what the Big Bertha is. This fender offers a lot of buffering space between you and whatever is next to you. Not all inflatable fenders are the same. This one is HEAVY duty. This fender helped my cat stay 100% damage free when hurricane Helene blew through.
