I purchased this bag to carry my new 6 person tent because we all know that the bag that you originally get with a tent is junk. This bag exceeded my expectation for the price that I paid. Very heavy fabric, a nice quality zipper and nice carrying straps. I was able to put my tent (which is 42 inches long and about as round as a large coffee can in circumference), a 9x10 tarp and a 50 foot extension cord in the bag and I still have room to spare! We bought this bag for a trip to Pikes Peak and to make a big loop around Colorado. It survived over 1800 miles of driving through small town roads to interstates where we were driving in excess of 80 mph at certain points. From the pictures, you can tell that it had taken it’s fair share of bugs and direct high winds while we were driving. And on our drive home, it rained. It rained really, really hard! We kept two of those fold up camping chairs in the bag along with a tent, large rain coats, dirty clothes that accumulated along the trip, a coffee pot and some cooking gear and a few other small things that I can’t really remember at the moment. I’d estimate we had about 35 pounds worth of gear in the bag. The bag isn’t “water proof” like a dry bag but nothing was ever soaked. Damp, of course, but never soaked. And at a guess, we were driving 55—60 mph through rain as the water directly hit that bag. And anything that we had in the bag that needed to stay dry was all kept in dry bags. For the price, I thought the bag would just fall apart and I’d have to buy something much more expensive while on the trip. That being said, I’d give this bag the highest rating that I can simply because it was far beyond any expectations that I had. Hell, the zipper never even jammed up! I wouldn’t recommend filling it up with rocks and trying to carry it around but for what we used it for, it worked great! ... show more

I bought this bag specially for an overseas deployment. This thing is massive and literally can substitute for a body bag. 😅 I know some people myself included were worried about size limitations but it made it through the airlines I used without any problems. Mind you though I did not stuff this bag to max capacity. I left about a quarter of it empty not wanting to risk having to pay for over sized baggage. I traveled with Delta and Qatar airlines and my bag made it through screening. Hope that’s helps someone. As long as it looks passable for size/weight limitations I’m confident no airline will give you any problems. If you fill it to max capacity then you will most likely be sent to over sized baggage or be told it can’t fly at all so it’s up to your discretion. Now as far as durability it’s a solid 5/10. My bag weighed about 40 pounds with over a quarter left of free room and it was nerve racking carrying it by the straps and even more nerve racking hoping it made it through an oversea luggage trip. But for $20 you can beat it. If the bag lasts a few trips or even my round trip back to the states it was worth it. Anything over 50 pounds or 25 kilos you’re risking a tear at the handles. Again, left up to personal discretion. I definitely recommend the bag for drive travel, cross country trips, camping, sports, and music equipment. Just used this for my first overseas trip to Thailand. This thing held up through all of the abuse of the airlines and myself. I am really surprised at how well it is made and the fact that the material did not tear. I would highly recommend especially if you plan of traveling a lot with this.

I bought this taking a chance because I didn’t really see anyone specifically mention a full five-piece drum set. But yea, my 12” & 13” toms, 14” snare, and 16” floor tom all fit inside this bag. I put my Evans SoundOff pads between each of them to keep the heads from bumping the hardware from the adjacent drums. It’s a little clumsy to carry but it works very well for my needs. I bought this, a bass drum bag, a cymbal bag and an army style duffle bag for the stands throne and misc hardware. So for around $110 I can take my drum set out for rides now! If you’re just moving or storing your set, or take it places occasionally, don’t pay €140 quid or whatever, get this bag and a kick drum bag, for less than half that. If you’re a gigging professional however, it probably goes without saying, I don’t recommend that. Doing it over, I would just buy two of these, the second one being for the stands & hardware, and not have bought the military style duffle bag. Rock on sister’s & brother’s 🤘🏻 ... show more

Love this. I am an amateur astronomer and this holds my travel scope, tripod and mount without have to take apart the mount and tripod. (Legs are not extended, of course) It can also carry a few of my accessories — a/c power converter, several eyepieces (properly packed), and counter weights.

Of course, I read the size, but I think I just didn't comprehend for very BIG this bag is. I am using it for flags when I ride with the Patriot Guard Riders. I have 17 flags broken down it it (so 34 pieces of 3/4" PVC, 45" long) and it's not half full. The length is perfect for a 7-1/2' flag pole broken down, but it would easily hold 35-40 flags and that's way too much for a motorcycle. I with the carry straps weren't so long; they're more like a shoulder strap than a handle. Nice bag, very well constructed and plenty rugged if you need a big bag. ... show more
