  • Nice keyboard and works well with iPad Air 4
This is a nice bluetooth keyboard and its paired with my iPad Air 4. It mimics the Magic Keyboard where the iPad is held in place with magnets. It has a lot of functionality to it and I like that you get a full keyboard and trackpad to work with. It feels solid even though there is a slight bit of give for the keyboard base as you type. It also has multi-colored keyboard backlight options. The pairing process was pretty straight forward. Turn on Bluetooth, put it into pairing mode (which is really the only time I had to look at the manual) and then pair it to my iPad in settings. Once paired, it was ready to go. I did find that for google docs initially, the entire keyboard would work except for the letters and numbers but after opening up the Notes app and then seeing it work there, the keyboard started working on other apps as well - including google docs. The typing experience is good on a lap and I think it will be good on a flight tray as well. The way this is positioned does help it stay balanced on a lap without having to use a back kickstand that some Logitech keyboards use. The Logitech Folio Touch keyboard is slightly larger than this (and understood it is an overall different design). I’m a bit weary about the magnets. They do feel strong but it might take some getting used to with my iPad Air just ‘hanging’ out with no protection. I have a screen protector on the iPad but its not difficult to knock the iPad off the magnetic base. Note that my iPad Air 4 is a bit dated at this point so that might be an issue as well. The folio keys have less travel than the Inateck keys to the point that the Inateck keys feel better to type on. This is a great keyboard - no doubt about that. I find it easy to keep going with the Inateck keyboard to get things done. ... show more

  • Works as advertised, could be better
The item is as advertised. It didn’t weight anything more than your standard case even with the keyboard. The tilt has a maximum and you cannot tilt it back more than what is pictured. You can only use it in horizontal configuration despite it being a magnetic attachment. The magnet is strong enough but makes sure the camera is in its designated area to give you the extra support and hold. There is nothing protecting the device itself so you either need another case that will be compatible with the magnet and find one that’s thin enough to fit into this case or go without the side and corner protections for your device. Keypad is nice and works well, didn’t have issues with delayed or no response and there are lots of functions. The backlight can be changed and the brightness adjusted, the lights will go out automatically afterwards few seconds if you don’t press any keys to conserve battery and will light back up as soon as there is a keystroke. Bluetooth connection is easy and there is an on /off button. Pros: easy Bluetooth setup, customizable color lights and brightness, many key functions, smooth and sensitive touchpad, responsive keys, good battery life Cons: no vertical configuration despite being a magnetic case, it just won’t hold the tablet and no protection for the tablet itself ... show more

  • I’m shocked!
I don’t know what I expected with this keyboard case but it has gone far above and beyond them. The syncing process was quick and easy. I was nervous about the bluetooth touchpad due to bad experiences in the past but this one feels almost like it’s hardwired in. There’s very little latency to contend with. The magnets holding my Ipad in place feels more than sturdy enough to have the confidence it won’t be falling out anytime soon. The typing experience is 2nd to none expecially considering the price range. I just finished several hours worth of work inputing into spreadsheets using this keyboard and not 1 problem. I currently writing this review using this keyboard and it just feels good. The hinges have a smooth motion with just enough resistance to inspire confidence. I own several cases for this Ipad but I dont see it leaving this one anytime soon! ... show more

  • Bluetooth required, a little bigger than the Apple version.
If you're thinking this will just snap on and work like the Apple keyboard case - it will not. This requires bluetooth pairing, and it does not do 'pass through' charging like the Apple product, since there is not an electrical connection between the case and the iPad. Now, that being said, it works just fine when you pair it. It holds your iPad nice and steady, the keyboard has decent key travel, and the trackpad works as you would expect. It is also slightly thicker than the Apple product - and about 40 grams heavier. You won't notice the weight but you might notice the extra thickness. An iPad in an apple keyboard case is already noticeably thicker than one of the Apple laptops, and this is thicker still. All that said - this gets the job done - it's a nice keyboard, and it turns an iPad into a legit computer that I would have no issues using to write reports or knock out some emails. And it is certainly a great deal cheaper than the Apple version of this concept. But - I really wish it didn't require bluetooth - it's just one more thing to deal with and another thing you have to keep charged. ... show more

  • Custom-fit keyboard case for Apple IPad Air 5th generation
This keyboard case is made to fit the Apple IPad Air 5th generation 11”. The magnetic cover attaches to the back of the iPad very easily and securely. The keyboard has color LED that can change which makes it really nice. The trackpad is responsive and big enough unlike other keyboard cases. There is a button to turn the keyboard off when not in use to converse power. Lastly, the keyboard is pretty thin but does add some weight to the iPad. ... show more
