This is a great tool to help hide boxes like Apple TV or Roku if you have a wall-mounted TV. I was going to use it for a house I am remodeling but it is so old that the studs are only 14" inches apart. I tried putting it sideways but there are furring strips for the old wood siding so it would not sit flush! It WOULD have fit depth-wise, which I was surprised about because we also do not have 4" deep walls. So, great idea, great execution, just not for me for this project.

The listing pictures show it with the 5 inch mounting plate that often comes with these white label boxes. The text says it has "dual-layer cable management" which implies the plate is included. This unit I received did not include a mounting plate. Because the listing was ambiguous I wasted 20 minutes trying to determine if my unit was shipped wrong or the product simply did not include it. I guess it does not include the plate. (which is extremely helpful) Otherwise, it's a useful product; it looks good.. As many have said, installation and fit depends on the accuracy of the stud placement. I actually placed mine in a closet and hid a wifi AP and two Raspberry Pis which we use as servers. A single Cat5 serves all of them and puts the AP in the center of the house.

Cant complain about this box, its well molded and made of sturdy plastic. It doesnt feel like it was going to break while I installed it and had very little flex. The knockouts werent too hard to remove with flush cutters and nothings going to bend or fall out while you're installing it. The door was a little hard to remove once installed. That could be on me.

This media box is made well and it fits recessed into the wall. We have not gotten it installed yet but it should be easy to do. It will be nice to be able to get the messy cords organized behind my TV. Overall, I feel this is a well designed media box!!!

A small, well-constructed box with plenty of mounting space for equipment. The A/C socket fits neatly on the cabinet's bottom. Ensure your components' size matches for proper fit. Perfect for the Samsung Mini One Connect box—excellent!

Great for hiding cables behind a wall-mounted TV. Installation was fairly easy, though it needed some extra support—but overall, it works well. The space is large enough to fit two outlets and a cable lead, with a little room to spare. The price was pretty reasonable too.
