Definitely looks better than the stock plastic thing. One of those, while I'm in here, why not kinda parts. In fact, I think mine worked so well that it increased the oil pressure to seep out my oil cooler bypass gasket. Yay.

So far so good I've installed this in a friend's engine we are building for his truck. Seems good quality i like it has 2 o-rings one on each end. Fit in with little effort compared to others like this. All in all I think it will be a good addition to the lubrication system.

LS owners who change their oil and it's dark just shortly after oil change , is because your factory plastic crap GM piece allows oil to bypay your filter, my oil stays way more golden way longer than ever , this item is a precise fit , don't skimp here on a rebuild , put this in the rear of your block oil galley , simple quick install while engine is out , buy it ... show more

Much better than the factory plastic one, saw many reviews of cheaper ones stating fitment issues when installing, this one worked perfectly. Spend the extra few bucks and get an Improved Racing barbell.

The quality of this part is really good. The machining was perfect and makes me wish it’s a part people could see. I feel so much more confident with this in place of the OEM part. The OEM plastic barbell only has one o-ring compared to this having one on each side. Also, the ability to remove this with a machine screw for reinstallation is great. This is a must have upgrade for your LS engine when you are rebuilding it. ... show more
