  • Versatile bridge head is a must have!
Simply put, this bridge head offers a huge range of angles for proper delivery of a shot, facilitating easier stroke over other ball(s), at distance, or to more easily impart desired spin. It attaches easily to any cue (though I still always look for a house cue to put it on, as I'm still paranoid that on removal from one of my regular cues it might take the tip off with it -- not that that has ever happened) so you can bring it with you to your favorite billiard spot where they either don't have any bridge at all, or have one of those miserable generic ones that has no flexibility to adapt to your shooting needs. The bridge head itself is a hard plastic material that seems like it will last a lifetime without deforming, and does not abrade the shooting cue, and the rubber grommet used to affix to the bridge cue looks to be durable as well. Great product, and an outstanding value at the low price. ... show more

  • An Amazing Value
I lamented the fact that I had no bridge available until I found and ordered this little gem on Amazon's site. Most of my pool playing takes place in my condominium community's clubhouse. The equipment there consists of a set of balls, a triangle rack, and one old cue. I bring my own cue and, now, can slide the bridge head onto the clubhouse cue for a terrific bridge. There are nine grooves across its four sides, so it's easy to find the perfect position for your shot. One potential down side is that unusually thin cues require you to slide the head further down the shaft, which may leave a few inches of the cue sticking out in front of the head. In my experience, this has not been a problem, unless there's a ball in the way. Usually, I can reposition the bridge to avoid the ball but, if not, I'll just move the offending ball and replace it after the shot. All in all, the Moosehead Bridge works exceptionally well and is a terrific bargain. ... show more

  • Works just fine, well made
This pool bridge was a good fit. Unlike the one I got from a competitor the rubber in it was flexible and helped it fit easily onto my cue. It does everything a bridge is supposed to and helps my game. It's a cheap piece of plastic, but it's rounded in the right places, and designed well. A great tool for beginners or advanced players. ... show more

  • Many more configurations, great value - bridge head only, stick not included
New house came with pool table and a considerable number of pool cues but no bridge. Buying a bridge with handle and tip was easily $30+ but as I have more than enough cues, this $3 or $4 tip works excellently well and has many more configurations than a standard bridge. Very pleased with design and price. Highly recommend if you have some spare cues. It is made of a resin or plastic, not metal, but has a nice slide and unless you have a driving need for metal, I don't see any reason to not buy this bridge head. ... show more

  • Great Customer Service
This is a great product. I have used them from other shooters for years so i finally broke down and bought two of them. They fit a little tight on the tip of house cues, but fit perfect on my cue. I have one in my cue bag and one at the house. They are plastic and flex a lttle but the are great because they are made to meet every different situation that you come accross on the table. I was origanally charged two much for shipping but the issue was resolved by the seller fast. They even contacted me to correct the issue. Very pleased with the item and the customer service. ... show more

  • OK bridge head
OK bridge. I had extra cues so I figured I'd make one into a bridge with this. The bridge slides much further onto the cute than expected and the tip of the cue sticks out about 1". It's also not very stable on the cue unless you really jam it on and then the top sticks out even further. If I wanted to use this as a bridge to keep in my bag to make sure there was always a bridge available, it would be more useful. The item seems well made and the things that I don't like abut it aren't enough to make me want to return it. ... show more

  • Can't beat it for the price
This is a great bridge head for only a few bucks. It's compact, fitting easily in virtually any case pocket. It offers a wide variety of positions and options. The only negative is that it is very flimsy and feels cheap (but still functions perfectly well). The off center shaft location took a little getting used to, but now that I'm used to it this is the only bridge I use. In fact, I also use it as a cue stand: it makes a great way to prop your sticks up against the wall. ... show more

  • Very versatile and stable; definitely a "Best Buy"
Much more versatile and stable than any other "rake" I've previously used. I haven't encountered a shot situation yet where this bridge head wasn't superior to the standard bridge found in every pool hall. It is definitely more stable than other bridges when placed on either narrow end for shooting over other balls. There are reviews with complaints about this head not fitting onto the ends of pool cues. This is true if one just tries to push it onto the end of a cue. However, if you screw it on as if it had threads, it fits on a a fairly wide range of cues (remember to "screw" it off as well to help preserve the rubber bushing). Better yet, I recommend buying a 1-pc (for home) or 2-pc (for travel) bridge cue made specifically for easily slipping a bridge head onto the end. Search the internet; they're cheap! I keep such a jointed cue in my cue bag along with this Moosehead Bridge Head, and everybody I play with wants to use mine instead of whatever else is available. ... show more
