After doing some research, this impact set got my attention for all the certifications impressed on the battery. The price is very similar to other impact guns one can get for the price. What makes this tool apart from others I have tested is the performance and quality. Did not have any struggle removing my lug nut on my Nissan Murano, unlike other guns that one have to squeeze the trigger and wait to see if the tool has enough power. On this tool, there is not that problem. the mechanism is made of steel and the impact feels sturdy. To be fair and honest, this is my first time using an impact wrench but needed to remove and replace heavy duty equipment bolts & this impact wrench didn’t skip a beat. Works like a charm. The case could be a bit more heavy duty. It just feels like it is going to break very easily. The 2 front compartments on the case are weak and flimsy and will pop open so maybe don’t put anything in there that you don’t want to be picking up or losing. ... show more

Negatives: Cosmetic Blemish caused a lid compartment corner going through the foam and scraping the surface of the tool. This is purely cosmetic, and I'm not entirely sure how hard it was needed to pierce through the foam and have a fingernail sized scrape on its logo. Only three rubber gaskets and pins. I get the feeling I'll be buying more of these rather fast. 14mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, and 22mm impact sockets included. If other sides are needed, you'll have to buy elsewhere. Trigger pull is a little "sticky" if you are trying to get it at a certain speed, with no feedback outside the speed the drill is turning on the speed stage it's at. Positives: The trigger can go through 9 speeds of rotation through the pull, as well as just a light only trigger pull at the very start. 21V and 5.55 Ah lithium ion battery x2. A beefier battery then I was expecting at this price point. Plenty of torque, and enough weight in the tool to apply it. Now, this is not a light tool, but it's balanced so it's not awkward to hold at any angle attempting to slip out of your hand with the balance being on the opposite of the trigger. A rather good impact driver, with a goose in the case causing cosmetic damage to the driver. The worst that can be said is that the case itself needs work, but the tool itself is doing the job just fine so far. Durability? Too early to tell, but nothing about the tool scares me. The only post that I would be hesitant is the battery connection and the battery itself is mostly plastic exterior without any of the ruggedness of the tool. So dropping it will make you worry about your foot, then the battery connection, and finally the battery in that order. Honestly, I would have given this 5 stars if not for the case and blemish. ... show more

I do not have the means to measure the actual torque of this impact wrench but I will start by saying I doubt it is able to reach it's claims of 640ft-lbs of torque for either tightening or loosening. That being said, it's got plenty enough torque for the average DIY person at home. You really shouldn't put too much stock into these ft-lbs claims as they're often greatly exaggerated or just a flat lie. The tool itself is pretty hefty in the hand which isn't a surprise. It has a nice grip and feels good in the hand. Variable speed. Battery life seems pretty good. In the package you get the tool, two batteries, battery charger, a small set of impact sockets (14mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 21mm and 22mm), the extra o-rings & retaining pins and a carrying case. The impact sockets seem better quality than what you might usually get in these "no-name" impact wrench kits from my experience. They're not great but not terrible. You get a handful of useful sizes but you should obviously try to purchase a full impact socket set. I've tried to put this impact wrench through it's paces for the past month and it hasn't failed me yet. It breaks lugs off the car with ease, did a little suspension work and all sorts of little jobs in between. As long as it holds up, it's an easy 5 stars at this price range. ... show more

This is one powerful impact wrench of a very good quality made, no less than those brand name counterparts, as I see it. At the price it offers, I don't think you would necessarily sacrifice on either the performance or its service life. At 5.5Ah the battery didn't feel heavy at all, the wrench fits in my hand rather comfortably with good balance and provides good agility in operations. In addition to the variable speed (3 levels of RPM via squeezing the trigger in 3 positions) control, 3 different tightening torques can also be set - Low-Medium-High, which is very useful. Although the exact torque spec - other than the max torque of 640 Ft/Lbs - was not mentioned. Nevertheless, I am happy to see it has this level of sophistication at its price range. The six black steel impact sockets included in the package also appear to be very high quality, and I think they will last a long time and perform confidently. I have seen other sockets with life-time warranty do not any better than these in all aspects. I used the impact wrench and the 22mm socket to loosen the wheel lug nuts from a rear dual-tire van that were factory installed/tightened with ease, it made the chore (rotating wheels) almost pleasant. Beyond the essential quality of the tools themselves, it is also nice to see the price includes two 5.5Ah (i.e. high capacity) Lithium batteries and a nice and rugged storage box the tools came in with. All in all, this product is well made, worthy of a workshop grade and a very good value, in my opinion. One thing worth noting is that the impact wrench, with the battery attached, comes to 5.5lb as I measured it, NOT 8 pounds as the product descriptions put it.
