After having a scurffufle with concrete earlier this year I was looking for a new pair of gloves and thought that these were a great match. The number one thing I wanted was a hard plastic palm for sliding purposes. This has exactly that providing an out of the way yet safe feeling glove that is exactly like I was looking for. So far these gloves are holding up very well. I've worn them on long overnight trips and they're surprisingly comfortable. I've no issues using my nav or I-phone. They are not water resistant though but instead breathable gloves for warm weather conditions.
