I wear a XL motocross helmet, a XL ski helmet. I ordered this one in 2XL cause of the reviews and it was tight. It did not cover my head very well and it was very bulky. I returned it immediately. I liked the design and the tinted lens but it wasn't designed for big heads like mine.

Overall, I'm well pleased with my purchase. I bought this helmet to give myself a second option for summer riding. It looks great, and the quick release is perfect. I ordered the size I normally buy (large) and I probably should have ordered extra large. Also, the drop down sunshield is not usable with my prescription glasses, so keep that in mind. Maybe if I ordered the bigger size, there would be a gap large enough to accommodate my glasses, but it doesn't appear likely. ... show more

I like the adjustment for the head size. This made it easy to get a snug fit. The chin strap is a bit uncomfortable because the ratchet for the quick release must go in at least 3 clicks or it will pull back out on its own. When the chin strap is secure, there is a lot of excess strap that I have to put somewhere. I am hesitant to cut it to length. The helmet feels big on top of my head and top heavy, but is functional.
