This helmet is amazing! Its super comfortable, it has soft padding where it matters and good air flow channels that also relieve pressure from spots that normally would feel a ton of pressure from the weight or pressure from the pads. Deep spots for Bluetooth speakers and a channel to lay the cord of the microphone in so it stays tucked. The noise from air at speed is pretty good to me a lot of that is this helmets just fits really good and your ears are fully enveloped by padding.

I've been riding for many years and have worn many different helmets. In short it's a great helmet for the money, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. I wear a 6-3/4" hat. The fitment was perfect, was able to install my Bluetooth headset without issue, cheek pads fit right where they should on my cheekbones. There is plenty of space in front of your mouth as to not feel clostephobic. The airflow seems to be just fine. Both the clear exterior visor and tinted interior visor work fine and are clear. I saw that other reviews that were written talked about having actually saved their heads in an accident. Fortunately I have no experience there so I will take their word on it.

PROS: Literally expected it to be worth the price and supersedes expectations. The quality of the build is worth a built more than what I paid for. Visibility is very good, noise level is okay. Looks is very much as I expect it to be. Plus it even has cutouts within the helmet for after market Bluetooth modules. Con: Will need to buy a size up. I have a bigger head than probably most people, so I did return this and will purchase a different size.

I bought this helmet to take my riding lessons in 2021. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a helmet til I knew if I would continue and could learn more about what would best fit me. I went one size up, from LG->XL and it fit comfortably. Eventually, the longer I wore it, the more it hurt from pressing on my forehead. I removed the padding and used an ice cream scoop to compress the front and back of the foam. Then I was able to wear it all day before it started hurting. Size-wise, it was great. I put in speakers and still had room to wear Earpods and there was plenty of space to slide glasses in and out with the helmet on. I was even using a strap to hold my glasses in the right place with no problem. Pros: You can't beat the price. Well built. I like the yellow because it is better for the heat but more visible than white. Spacious without being too loose. Quick release buckles are the best; can even clip it with one gloved hand (sometimes) if I forget before I take off. The face shield and shade operate easily. I even use the shade with sunglasses when heading into the sun. Cons: Main problem I encountered is the shield fogs when it rains and only solution is to crack it open a notch. Thankfully, the shield stayed in place when open. I wish there was more air flow. Can barely tell a difference between vents open and closed. I can't comment on the noise level: 1 because I've had nothing to compare it to, 2 I always ride with noise canceling ear pods, and 3 my road tourer blocks most of the wind. I will say this; I gave up using the bluetooth headset because the headset wouldn't let me raise the volume so I could hear anything above the wind noise above 60 mph. I recommend getting NC ear pods or wearing ear plugs just to save your hearing anyway. Over the years I've tried on other helmets, just for a fit check, Bilt, Schubert, Shoei, et al and none of them felt as comfortable as my ILM, so I never traded up. Now, The Best Part: I recently ran off the road at a curve going about 65 mph and rolled several times (I wasn't really counting) down the ditch and the helmet stayed on and did what it was supposed to. I had no head or neck injury! (I had Bohn armor on, in case you're interested.) The only injury I sustained was a broken Tibia and misaligned ankle from a 600 lb motorcycle landing on my ankle. I count myself extremely lucky. After that, the helmet was seriously scratched up and the shield hinge didn't function well and one of the black vent pieces came loose. At that point, I felt I had gotten my money's worth out of it and was more than happy to replace it. I might just replace it with the same one, though I might try on a few others in the same price range to see what feels the best. So, if you have an intermediate oval head, and you're considering buying this, and the Cons aren't deal breakers, I encourage you to consider it. Good for one good wreck, then replace it, and hope you never have to replace it!

I needed a helmet quickly, and this seemed like the best option for the quick delivery. I’m a female- early 40’s - petite. I normally wear a medium helmet and I ordered a medium helmet. It ran really tight along the sides of my face. I had to use a big flashlight for 24hrs (from cheek to cheek, on the inside) to stretch it. It feels fine now. It’s not quite when on the road. Super loud in fact. The ventilation isn’t great either. The chin guard pops out every time I close the helmet down. It’s warm when wearing (since the vents don’t do much). Not ideal when riding in 100° heat. Should be fine in cooler months. The inside tinted visor is awful. I feel like I’m wearing strong prescription glasses. The red light on the back takes 2 batteries. It has a button to push on the back when you want it on. Has 3 light settings. Unless it was an emergency situation or heavy traffic, I probably wouldn’t take my gloves off to turn it on. The button is pretty small if you’re wearing gloves to turn it on. Besides the negatives above, it seems safe. It’s not perfect, but it does its job. I easily added Cardo communication to it. With the helmet loud on the road, I had to have music turned as high up as I could get it.
