The helmet itself isn't bad, but if you're like me and bought it for the Bluetooth capabilities, don't bother. I've owned this helmet for 3 hours and got to use the FM transmitter in it for about 20 minutes, never got my phone to connect via Bluetooth and the battery already broke, the USB charging port busted off and fell into the battery housing! *Edit The customer service is awesome and I was able to solve this problem in a matter of a couple days. If I have any issues ever again with this company, I would have no problem working with them, and I will order from them again!

unfortunately it was just too tight on me because I have a big fat head! I wear a size 8 fitted cap so I got a 2XL. I was able to get it on but it was just too tight on the jaw area for comfort so unfortunately I had to return it. It was really upsetting cause I loved the look and quality of this helmet. The return process was seamless though, about 5 days from my initial order to being credited for the return. I got it, realized it didn't fit, started the return immediately through Amazon, chose for UPS to pick it up the next day, they picked it up from my home and had the money credited back to my account 2 days later! And it could've even been faster if I would've chosen to get an Amazon credit but I wanted it credited back to my AMEX card so that took an extra 2 days. So I say all that to say this, if you're in doubt, even if you also wear a size 8 fitted, give it a shot & order it cause your head may be shaped different and worst case scenario the whole return process will only take a couple of days and Amazon will even arrange to have UPS pick it up from you, so what do you really have to lose? And to ILM, please, please, please make a size 3XL version of this modular, bluetooth hemet! Please!

To be clear, this helmet is ok at lower speeds and the intercom system is great for the price point. I ended up returning the two helmets I purchased because they are quite loud at any speed above 45 mph. I rode for 1.5 hours at various speeds and ended up exhausted due to the huge amount of wind noise (visor closed, open, any configuration). Since most of my riding is above 45 mph it was a deal breaker for me.

Sizes run very small. Going to have to get out the soccer ball and stretch the liner a bit. Bass response on the speakers is really poor, but it pairs easily with Android phone, and unlike my wireless headphones, it doesn't fall out when you adjust the helmet. Overall, it will do the job... If i can get it stretched out enough to wear it, and we get good enough weather out to ride!

Yeah Buddy! This helmet is actually pretty dope. It has a built in bluetooth, FM radio, and was really easy to get connected to my phone. I like that it has an internal eye shade. I like the toggle button, it is easy to use. The helmet suprisingly fit pretty well, although I was wearing it a couple hours and it was getting stuffy in there. The front face modular part isn't the smoothest tradition to open but it fits the function. Overall, I give it a four because it was reasonably priced, had everything I needed, and fit. Thanks!

I waited a few weeks before rating this thing. I gave it Five Stars, mainly because of what a killer value it is. It's got all the usable features, and a pleasing shape. The flip-down sunglasses are a nice touch in a pinch. They're easily deployable, but create too much turbulence to ride with the shield up. The liner is removable and quite plush for a lower range helmet. The quick-release ratcheting chinstrap works great. I have a Med. to Lrg. head, so I ordered the Lrg. and it fit perfectly. Snug, but not too. Venting is decent, as is the soundproofing. You can easily hear the sound system at Fwy speed. I won't bag on the sound quality at this price-point. It's plenty loud enough. If you want bass, then buy earbuds and be prepared to pay$$$ I could hear it fine at 80mph even with the visor up, having a stock pipe and no windscreen. The radio is great and remembers your last station. Phone calls must be answered, but they're easy to dismiss if you want. The mike is neatly tucked away. Nice feature! Another great feature is that the Bluetooth unit is removable and not hard-wired in for ease of maintenance. Apparently, the unit comes fully charged as I've been running it for hours the way it came. It has a low battery flashing indicator to let you know when to charge it. And you don't have to remove it for charging. The paint could be better, but at this price... Just keep a good coat of wax on it. The chin-guard latch can be sticky, so just keep a light coat of grease on the latches and strikers and it works perfect, with positive lock-up and release. I've owned a SHOE Neotech and I like this one better at almost a quarter of the price. A SHOE or Schuberth IS quieter and of better quality, but it'll cost you! This thing at $200 is a steal.
