I hate getting drilled with bugs while biking and ordered this helmet. The flip visor does a great job and I love that it is tinted. It’s a more robust helmet as far as protection and weighs slightly more than the regular helmets, but is still lightweight and is definitely lighter than my hockey helmet that I used for a bit. Thia is the second helmet ordered at the same time. Nice helmet: Well made, feels good, easy to adjust. But I have questions as to why there is no way to have white lights to the front and red to the back at the same time, or only red to the back with nothing to the front. I had a small problem after about a year of use. The screw that acts as a pivot point for the face shield broke. I emailed the company and within just a couple of days they sent me a replacement screw at no charge. They even covered the shipping cost. Helmet was ok, but had some issues. 1. It was heavy 2. The visor got scratched because the helmet always rolled to rest on it. You had to be very careful. The visor is a nice idea, but is more pain then it's worth.

As the headline implies; I can see well in almost direct sunlight, keeps the wind out of my eyes while riding my Ebike, and many of flying insects have at least bounced off of it! Also comfortable! And I haven't even used the lights, mostly because I don't ride in the dark at night.
