These Cardamom Pomander Candles are amazing. The size is very generous and worth the money. The fragrance is to die for…..not too strong or too light. It gives my whole room such a lovely scent. I love the tins that they come in. When you remove the top cover so you can use the candle don’t throw it out. You can use it to store so many different items. I used one for the hair ties in my bathroom, another Q-tips, and the third one for make up brushes. IF YOU HAVE PETS ! This is the answer! This dam candle sent mass odors like you wouldn’t believe at the same time making your house smell wonderful it’s strong. I’m not gonna lie. Sit it under a candle warmer Let it burn for a while take it off because the sent/smell is so strong! It can be overwhelming Now I’m not going to lie the 3oz that I ordered looks like a trial size/ a sample candle on the flip side it’s all you need this candle give out in your face fragrance like I said your entire house will smell like pine entire house! This is a good one don’t sleep on this one!😀just try one/ is all you need and I bet it won’t be your last take care ... show more

    • 20 years since my last Illume Candle purchase, and it sucks!

About 20 years ago I had a friend who sold Illume Candles and thus turned me onto them. I got to try numerous scents and loved most. They came in nice frosted glass jars and the scents were strong, unique but not overwhelming. And most of the themed ones, like Heirloom Pumpkin, were not floral at all. They really smelled very much like they were called. But over the years as my stock ran out I did not buy any more and burned less. Well being an avid camper and wanting to try something new I bought this "Woodfire" scent. First Illume Candle in a LONG time. All I can say is how disappointed I am. I will return it. I had it burning for an hour and totally forgot it was going because there is just not much of a scent. And the scent it does produce is kinda floral, like a generic candle burning. Nothing special, nothing unique. And certainly NOTHING that would remind me of "woodfire". Heck, more scent was produced by putting out the wick than the candle itself. I had been told the Illume went down hill around the time they moved away from the frosted glass jars with silver labels. I can see that is true. Happy I bought just one and not all the scents in my car. And I am glad I still have a couple of the old ones left. Even twenty years on they still smell great when lit! ... show more

Once lit did not hold the smell long. Very small for the amount of money and did not have a constant smell once lit. It was not worth the money.
