Okay peeps, this has been a game changer for me. I’m kind of a skincare junkie. I try to take good care of my skin and I try to get the best products I can afford. I want to keep my skin looking young and supple for as long as possible, until the fountain of youth is discovered, of course. For reference my typical skincare brands are Revision, Skinceuticals, Elta MD, Aveda, Charlotte Tilbury and Peter Thomas Roth. I have DRY skin with an oily t-zone, and my skin has historically been pretty sensitive and prone to redness - I have a bit of rosacea as well. So one day the YouTube algorithms gods took me down the rabbit hole of Korean skincare and being the junkie I am I of course ran to Amazon to order some of the products these K beauty influencers (and some board certified dermatologists) were talking about. That’s how I found this illuyoon moisturizer. It’s the first K Beauty one I’ve tried and I’m frankly blown away that a cream this economical is this good. I cannot tell you the number of expensive moisturizers I’ve tried (easily in the $70-$150 range) that don’t hold a candle to this. It’s been phenomenal. My skin looks and feels hydrated. It seems there is a lot to the Korean approach of healing the skin barrier. Now, I have been pairing it with Torriden Dive In hyaluronic acid serum, and granted that probably amplifies the effects of this cream overall, but I’ve used this moisturizer solo on a number of times and my skin feels amazing at the end of the day when usually for me my skin would feel quite dry to the touch. Anyway, I’ve already been though the small size tube and I’m ordering the large jar next. I’m really pleased to have found this cream, and if you’ll excuse me I have some shopping to do with all the money I’m saving from buying this instead of my usual pricy moisturizers.

keep in mind I have only used it for a week and it's now my favorite moisturizer. my skin is over 40 years old and has been getting dryer with each year. I tried Sephora recommendations with higher price points, tried Beauty by Joseon Dynasty Cream and Etude's Soon Jung 2x barrier cream and they were adequate but not as moisturizing for my combination oily skin (t-zone is dry and my chin is super dry). with illyoons ceramide ato concentrate cram my chin feels super hydrated as well as the rest of face. my skin is loving this - I can't believe after so many years of searching and money spent I have finally found the one and at an affordable price. highly recommend if you have very dry skin and don't mind the feel of occlusive creams. will be purchasing more!

this cream is perfect for all seasons for me. i have used it in the winter or in the summer. I like it since its locks all moisture in while being lightweight. the cream has no fragrance or color and has little beads that just melt into the skin. it is perfect for after microneedling or if you have a damaged skin barrier. it makes your skin look nicely hydrated while having almost like a gel texture. a little goes a long way and it has not actives so its prefect with every other skincare product you may use. This is the third bottle i have bought!

As someone with dry skin naturally, and on top of having dry skin, uses Tretinoin nightly, this is a pretty good moisturizer. It is WAY bigger than I expected, which is always a plus. As far as moisture goes, it’s about a 7/10 or 8/10 on my skin. I appreciate how quickly it absorbs into my skin and doesn’t cause any pilling when layering with my other skincare products. It is, in my opinion, best suited for daytime use, due to how lightweight it feels on the skin. I like to apply this moisturizer on slightly damp skin to maximize on the moisture factor, and then follow it up with my sunscreen. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

I cannot get over how much I love this stuff. I am a dry skin girlie with some discoloration and worried about anti aging. I really struggle finding lotions, besides thick night creams, that actually moisturize and don’t leave me flaky. Plus I see retinol, so extra dryness. This stuff goes on so smooth, so moisturizing, and leaves my skin glowing. Doesn’t absorb as much as a cerave but so worth it.
