I got this in the color Rise, which is a dark pink. It’s a pretty color, but too bold for me when I first apply it. After wearing it for about an hour, it’s come off enough that I like the color better. It’s easy to apply and wears reasonably well. It’s not as sticky as a lot of lip glosses, but it has some tackiness. I found that a piece of my hair would stick to my lips, which drove me crazy. Applying lip balm over it helped with that, but likely made the wear less long-lasting. I have been wearing it for zoom meetings, but not in person due to the brightness. It is advertised as high-pigment color and on that it delivers. I’m knocking it down a star due to being a bit sticky, but if you don’t mind that and like bold lips, you may really like this. ... show more

The lip polish goes on smoothly and felt very comfortable. The lipstick is a rose mauve pink color. It is glossy when applied. It didn't dry out my lips. The color does transfer but, lasts forever. When the color fades away, it leaves behind a beautiful stain. The color is easy to remove with an oil based cleanser. ... show more

Unfortunately it doesnt suit my skin tone, as it’s pinker than it looks. That’s not the fault of the maker. The gloss itself is easy to apply and looks very nice (on the correct skin tone) I’m a redhead, so it just looks loud on my very pale, freckled, skin. I normally only use a liquid-to-matte-lipstick, sometimes I’ll apply a bit of gloss on top, so this will work well on top of a brick toned liquid lippie, which would lessen the pinkness of the gloss somewhat. The texture and shine though, are wonderful, and the applicator is easy to use. I do love Illamasqua products, and and have used them for some years. First started using their nail polishes years ago, and they had some beautiful colours, that have become impossible to find nowadays. This feels like nothing on the lips, it’s airy and very featherweight. It does NOT dry out the lips and goes on smooth like a lip oil. It doesn’t run and dries down fairly quickly. This is my first time trying this brand and the color is spot-on for deeper skin tones. I’m not a huge fan of most lip products but this is now my top fave. It’s so-so. Not the greatest quality. I think the color is pretty. The gloss itself is a little difficult to apply evenly. It can easy smudge and get messy. It isn’t too hard to clean up though. It also doesn’t feel particularly comfortable to wear.. it feels rather heavy to me. However I don’t wear a whole lot of lipsticks or lip glosses. ... show more

This is lovely when put on, it goes on easily and makes my lips look smooth and shiny. The color is very even, and it's shiny like a gloss, but it's enough color coverage to be more like a lipstick. I feel comfortable wearing this alone, but lipliner is generally a plus. The color looks better and a bit more darker-red than the picture, and I'm happier with the actual color. The lip color Rise is a really nice moist lip polish that does not cause my lips to chap and peel. It does rub off easy and will leave a lip imprint on your coffee cup. Overall I do recommend this product!

Really pretty color plum color. It has a slight vanilla smell. Very hydrating and goes on smooth and not sticky. It stayed on pretty good even after lunch!
