I do not like to be negative, but I have to say to those interested in this mold that you may want to look a little further and possibly spend a little more to improve quality. Also read reviews and product details listed by seller. If the reviews are mostly below fair, keep looking. The issue that I had was the silicone was a bit flimsy and would alter the shape slightly in the larger molds due to not being strong enough to hold the resin. Also the pattern once poured and cured did not fit together without having to file down some of the connecting pieces so they absolutely had to be glued to stay together and it was more work and lessened the quality of the entire finished box. I wouldn't buy again to be honest and I want others to have a better experience and a better finished product. ... show more

I love this trinket box. It is an easy pour, great mold, the biggest decision I had was what colors to use. Perfect shape to store many things, it's all up to you and your imagination. Nice thickness which make it sturdy. When you assemble I suggest gluing the joints. I making some more for gifts for family and friends. ... show more

    • Imprints from the silicone molds end up on your project
These molds were solid, if a tad flimsy, and made a solid, well put together box. It does require a drop of resin or super glue to stay together when done, but is fantastic and sturdy once completed. My one complaint, and what prevented me from giving it five stars, is the way the silicone items were shipped, the sides were sitting in the bottom/top. This is fine, of course, but the side pieces left their outline in the shiny part of the silicone. This is clearly reflected in your completed resin project, and not easily done away with. I do not have a polishing kit, so have not tried that, but it prevents the 'shiny' parts from being uniform, and instead you have a design in the shape of the side mold on your completed pieces. Super frustrating, especially if you wanted to give it away as a gift. ... show more

Made one the other day. Some reviews said the pieces didn’t fit together. I had no problem. It took longer to set hard but I really like it. I would recommend this mold.

    • Have to return, need to package differently
Took it out the packaging and see what the other reviews meant by the short side walls being stored on the lid and bottom leaving imprints that don't go away and ends up transferring to the project. Also, the long sides of the molds were wavy, gives the project a Lil character, but not what I'm wanting. Going to send back and find another box from a seller with better quality. This would be really nice if not for the flaws. I actually probably would've kept it if it weren't for how they were stored causing the imprint transfer to the project. ... show more

I purchased another silicone mold from a different manufacturer and it did not fit together properly. I had to sand the edges to make the pieces fit (cause I didn’t want to waste the expensive resin). So, I purchased this one and the pieces WERE A PERFECT FIT! It was easy to unmold and assemble. You can see in the photos that it easily holds my double-six set of 28 dominoes. After wasting time on the other mold, I was thrilled when this went together well. This was a good item. The rubber for the molds is nice and smoother with no imperfections at all. The ease of getting the resin out is unbelievable. There's no fighting to get each piece out. I do wish it kind of came with instructions on how to put the pieces together to make the cute box but it's not hard to figure out. ... show more
