My dog's coat is dried in a fraction of the time thanks to this machine's strong motor, which has 4.8 horsepower and uses 3,600 watts. This not only helps me save valuable time during the grooming process, but it also assures that my dog won't have to go through an extended drying session, which may be unpleasant for him. The fact that both the pace and the temperature may be adjusted to suit my preferences is a quality that I value very much. This enables me to customize the drying process to meet the individual requirements of my dog. When the weather is cooler, I can adjust the temperature to a lower setting to avoid my furry companion overheating, and when the weather is colder, I can adjust the temperature to give a soft, warm airflow to keep my furry friend cozy and comfortable. The fact that this dryer operates at a very low decibel level is a really welcome feature. It is common knowledge that the process of grooming may be upsetting for our animals, and it is also common knowledge that loud sounds can make their uneasiness worse. My dog has a much easier time and a more pleasant experience when it comes to the drying process now that the amount of noise produced by the dryer has been greatly reduced. He is not as easily frightened or upset by the noise, and I can tell that he feels more at ease when he is being groomed.

I have a Golden Retriever that loves to swim! If he had his way, he'd be in the pool all day, every day! When he was a younger puppy, the hand-held dryer I had was able to get him dry. But now that his adult coat is coming in, I needed something more powerful. Goldens have a thick undercoat that takes forever to dry. This dryer is great! The air flow and heater make the job of getting him dry much easier. He tolerates the noise level too, which is always an issue. I also like that long cord and long hose with this unit. I am very happy with this purchase. We're ready for summer! Edit-Just a note to watch the hose. Ours became detached and had to be reconnected after many drying sessions. It was an easy fix, but something to watch out for. The dryer is used everyday for our pool-loving Golden, and we love how efficient it is.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I’m a groomer and was drying a dog for about 20mins with this. I looked over when I noticed a weird smell and saw the hose had melted in two places! This was the first time I used it as well.

Used it on three of my dogs and works great. Does a great job drying and loved the volume of air that it produced. The amount of extra fur blown out is great. The reason for 4/5 stars is, I wish I had noticed that the coolest setting was 95 degrees F. There is no way to turn the heat off completely. That said, holding the nozzle a little further off of the dogs coat mixes plenty of fresh air for lukewarm feel. Both settings for heat were a very comfortable temperature for the dog.
