Overall, I really like this product. I love that there is an option for product like this available at this price point in comparison to its $200 counterpart. It's very satisfying to use. The bearings are smooth. And it breaks up clumps and distributes the coffee rather evenly. Overall it's a great product. My only area for improvement is the fact that it does not reach all the way to the sides. While it gets 99%, the rim of the coffee puck remains untouched or undistributed. But, this alone is not enough for me to not use it. I am otherwise very satisfied with this product. ... show more

I didn’t think I would ever like a rotation WDT tool but I have finally found one that actually works really well. The height adjustment is extendable deep enough for a 27mm height basket (22g). The dosing ring has magnets strong enough to hold with the portafilter turned upside down, and the holder base doesn’t have the ridiculous brush that supposedly cleans the needles but in actuality can (and does) bend the needles. I have incorporated this tool into my daily workflow because it is quick, easy, doesn’t make a mess, and does the job. I have yet to experience channeling after using it, and I have tested it a couple dozen times now. I think we have a winner! Edit: I have now been using this IKAPE WDT tool for over a month, and I continue to get excellent results. Much better than my previous results using a typical manual type! I am experiencing zero channeling, it’s quick and easy to use, and is producing 100% repeatable and perfect results 😍 Highly recommend 👍 ... show more

I was gifted this thing, it looks ridiculous and I fully expected to have to lie to my SO and tell him the espresso was better. I didn’t have to. This silly little tool is heavy and solid but dainty at the same time. Stir up the grounds before pressing and I was sure it wouldn’t change a thing. I’m so glad I was wrong, my coffee is so much more delicious now. Bold and full bodied, extra flavor all over and just so much MORE.
