We bought these glasses to go with the iittala Essence red wine glasses we have. These glasses are of such high quality and good design- we absolutely love them. They have a nice heft to them and don't feel too delicate for everyday use or the dishwasher. If I have one complaint, it would be that the Essence collection doesn't have a taller water glass to accompany these, but iittala has certainly done a beautiful job with these. Love these wine glasses! They are sturdy and have a nice weight to them, are classically designed, perfect for drinking and enjoying a glass of wine! The higher price than an average stemless wine glass is in my opinion totally worth the money. Cheers!
