Pretty standard Ice pack. This brand can fit 6 in the average lunch box. I pack 1 on each side of my insulated lunch box and 2 on the bottom and top. Keeps frozen a long time especially when you use multiple or combine then with other things that are insulated. These keep food from spoiling all day. They are easy to wipe down and freeze again for the next use. These little packs are fairly durable too. They hold up for any job, and can withstand high temperatures for hours. I have not had one puncture or leak on me during transport. They dont take up much space in the icebox either. As far as transport goes, these are versatile outside of your lunchbox too. If your shipping something and you are unable to access/ afford dry ice, a few of these can do the job if its overnight delivery. I had no issues with my local post office when I needed to ship a body butter at summers peak. When my customer received the items she said it was still solid, even after arriving 2 days later! She also uses the packs her self, as she is a busy truck driver. You cant beat this deal for a dollar, not even the dollar twenty-five tree can. Theyre pretty much no fuss.     • Exactly what you expect your ice pack to do

My use case is a modest size lunch box, holding little more than a sandwich and snack. Does its job to the letter, keeps things cool long enough for lunch time. Usually by the end of the day it is starting to show signs of warming, but, it's an ice pack, we expect this to happen eventually. Mind the size, its size is about as you would expect from looking at it, listed dimensions are accurate. Not disruptively heavy at all, fits nicely in a modest size lunch box. Cools down in the freezer amazingly fast. Of course, always put it in overnight to really make sure it's cooled properly, but in a pinch this thing can cool down fast. One critique that is of zero consequence, after a few cooling cycles it will bulge in the middle. It would be neat if these ice packs were made to have chambers to prevent the fluid from freezing all in its center point, but this literally does not matter at all, just would be neat if they found a way to prevent that. ... show more

These work great with the lunch box I purchased. One of these fits perfectly in the top portion of the box and the food stays cold through lunch in the bottom portion. No leaks so far. I could have done with only one, but I'm sure I will drop one when frozen and break it, so I will just keep both in the freezer. ... show more

Love these ice packs, I’ve had some of them since I was a kid that I “borrowed” from my parents when I went to college and are still alive and keeping my lunches cool to today when I’m almost 30. These packs are very durable and last a long time (clearly, because I have 4 that my family has used 3-4 times a week for YEARS). My only complaint is that they do bulge a lot, even the new ones I got immediately had a half golf ball sized bulge when they froze. However, this doesn’t affect them and the old ones I have from my parents house/childhood 10-15 years ago are still in great shape and work great so I trust these will continue to work as well. I would highly recommend these, but be prepared because they do bulge out when they freeze, but for me that has never caused longevity or durability issues so I’m fine with it. ... show more

Very effective and convenient. Stayed frozen in cooler bag for 13 hours +. They do swell slightly in the middle when frozen, as you would expect, but not a big deal. Range of sizes is a great help when packing. No leakage
