The Good: great cooler size for the money. I used it for hunting and it held a quartered deer easily. The Bad: The plastic hinges are awful, they broke the first time I opened and used the cooler. If you buy this, just add the stainless steel replacement hinges to the order. You'll thank yourself you did. The Ugly: The hinges are POS. Buy the metal hinges.... seriously.

Good price with plenty of storage , The lid hinges did break within the 1st year and was going to purchase replacements online , but I contacted Igloo and they shipped me the stainless steel ones free of charge . I really could'nt ask for more .

I got one that have a big gap on the left side of the lid. the right side is fine . with that gap , I cannot imagine that it will keep the cool for hours or even days.

i wrote a very positive review, shortly after i received this cooler, which was less than a year ago. a few months ago the latches fell off. the cooler still worked for our purposes without the latches, but yesterday the lid fell off. i do understand that things wear out, but we do not handle this cooler roughly at all. it should have lasted more than 11 months.

Edit: I increase my rating one star after doing more research on the Igloo coolers. Apparently, there are two identical looking versions of the 100 qt. Igloo coolers (perhaps other sizes as well). The "Quick and Cool" and the "Maxcold". I owned the Maxcold version for the last 10 years and have been extremely happy. I would even say it's the best performing cooler I have ever owned. I purchased the "Quick and Cool" thinking it was the same as the look is identical. Well, the guts are significantly different, hence the much cheaper price of the "Quick and Cool." It seems cheaper all over, but the hollow hatch lid of the Q&C is just a joke. It's literally hollow. I would expect the Q&C to hold ice half as long or less (esp. in warmer weather) versus the Maxcold version. I don't understand why a company would manufacture a cooler than obviously lacks proper insulation....just to hit a $50 price point, I guess. I suggest avoiding this cheap version and spend a little more money and get the Maxcold. You will be glad you did when you go on 4-5 day camping trips and still have ice to keep your stuff cold as opposed to a bunch of water if you have the Q&C version.

Lasted 7 days before ice was gone. Made this years deer hunt easier. I would recommend this to anybody wanting to do an extended stay in camp. I stayed a few weeks so I drove into town as needed for more ice but I didn't go in for ice as often as I use to with my old smaller cooler. I loved the top open door, This was were I left my milk and pop set for easy access without having to open the entire lid. I have nothing negative to say about this. It does weigh more but what I did was leave the large ice bags laying outside on my trailer until after I got the cooler set up in my cabin then I carried the ice in, Other wise I don't think I would have been able to have man handled it myself but this 7 day cooler was worth that small amount of effort to be able to basically forget about it for a week setting in my living room with the exception of a short hose I left hooked up that I would run out the door every few days to drain water out of it. Thanks for making this extended cooler for us guys that want to spend our time hunting instead of driving into town every few nights for more ice.

Be advised... Like a previous customer mentioned, you will not get the same cooler as in the picture. I received the cooler that does not have the orifice to screw in wheels if one chooses to. The worst part of it all is that I received what seems to be a refurbished cooler due to the damaged lid. When I shined light from inside the cooler to the lid, it revealed a hole in between both panels of the lid (Pictures attached). I will attempt to return this cooler hoping to find one in time for a family event.
