I used 4 "blue ice" type freezer packs and also froze half of the bottled water I took along on my camping trip. At the end of the 4.5 days, there was still lots of ice in the bottled waters. None of my food got warm, the other drinks were still cold, and there was only a small amount of condensation at the bottom of the cooler at the end of the trip. I really wish Amazon would let you give zero stars. This cooler is awful. Feels cheaply made, the lid barely stays cold and worst of all, it DOES NOT keep ice anywhere near 5 days. We got less than 24 hours of ice retention and that was keeping it shaded in temps that barely touched 80. Works as well as a stryofoam cooler but way more expensive. ... show more
