Update as of 6 weeks of Use. 1. The Original one I bought handle fell off 2 days after use. It would stay on as long as you kept it upright. 2. I called Green Canyon Outfitters to tell them and their great customer service told me Igloo would send me a replacement. 3. I called Igloo, sent them my receipt (which GCO nicely sent me) and in 10 days I had a brand new cooler. I have used it for numerous trips to the boat, and in very hot conditions 2 bags of ice (which set it 1/2 full) lasted 2 days. Compare this to your normal Water Coolers (those tall 5 gallon ones) which barely lasted 1 day and don't hold near as much. I like how light it is and easy to carry. *** This is what I look for in any purchase, Customer Service, and Grand Canyon Outfitters did Great! ****** Received this very quickly, and love it. Defiantly Sturdy and well insulated. I was surprised how well built this is. I use this to take onto my Sailboat so I need something not to large, but big enough for food, drinks for a few days.     • Best cooler for the ball park EVER!
I have searched long and hard for a personal cooler that has all the features to make it a great ALL DAY ball park cooler. I think this one and its brother version with wheels is it. We do a lot of travel sports and visit many ball parks. When your kid plays softball, you are likely at the park for hours and hours at a time. You don't necessarily want a giant cooler because it requires too much ice, takes up a lot of car space, and is heavy to take in and out of your vehicle. This seems to have the perfect size, while still holding a tremendous amount of drinks and sandwiches for the family. Pro's: - Items stay really cold all day. You will still have ice in your cooler well after 24 hours. - Great size for 2 adults, 2 kids - Cooler acts as a small bench seat - Stacks nicely with the brother version that has wheels and a pull handle. Con's: - Lid can be a little difficult to open (especially with one hand) ... show more

    • Review for the 30. Really nice except lid sucks.
This is certainly a pretty good cooler. The size works great where you have room for beer, wine, ice and store bought salads. The handle and lid motion are solid which the equivalent coleman xtreme has problems with according to many reviews. The body is twice as think as my old rubbermaid cooler. I had a small amount of ice left at the end of the day and it lasted over night, so the insulation is pretty good when everything is really cooled down and you're not opening it. I have some complaints about the lid. 1) it's not insulated and reading online, great stuff is not a recommended fix. 2) the lid is translucent and doesn't match the rest of the body which is solid white. 3) The lid pops off way to easy. I ended up building up the lid with ptex from my ski tuning kit. Maybe the insulated lid doesn't matter that much if you keep it out of the sun. ... show more

    • Keeps ice for days
Keeps ice better than any other similar priced cooler that I have tried. The only thing negative is that the lid comes way too easily. That said, this problem only occurs when the lid is in the open position as it snaps down tightly when closed.

    • Lid broke off before i had it a week
Very disappointed. Love the cooler with its capability to keep things cold for 3 days. On the other hand the lid came off before a week's time. At first you could put the lid back in its place. But now the plastic hinges are so tore up i cannot put the lid back on. Not what i expected for a $50 marine cooler from igloo. So after 2 months the $50 cooler is garbage all ready. Can't believe this thing only lasted around 2 months. So dont buy this cooler unless you don't care about the lid staying on ... show more

    • Like Size and Weight for my 2DR Jeep
For my minimal needs = 5 stars. I chose this as a day-cooler...not overlanding for 10 days. Will work fine for bringing cold drinks fishing and have ice for driving the fish home. Can't judge durability or sturdiness because it's new, but I do like the low weight compared to expensive "hype" brands of similar size. Very light. If you want to place cool decals on this...forget it. I almost feel as if Igloo designed it so that you could not put stickers on it (non-smooth exterior). Does get dirty immediately, but so far cleans off easily. Again...another reason decals of your other favorite things will never last on this cooler. For that alone, next and serious boating cooler will be an Orca. I'll play the game. Don't buy it. ... show more

    • very weak handle
We use this cooler mostly for carrying drinks and snacks on road trips. The cooler is a nice size however the handle is very weak and breaks in the middle. This is the second one of these we bought with the same problem. The coolers will not last a year. The handle needs to be redesigned.

Very nice, superb quality, strong built well. I have had a few personal coolers that I take to work every day, they have all fallen apart, the handle or lid will break they really don't keep items cold. This looks and feels very well thought out. Walls of this cooler are sturdy do not have any give to them, the cooler is not heavy, I really like the fact that the lid clicks into place and it too is very study. The handle works well and its All white to reflect heat. Its About double the size of a playmate style cooler. Two gallon containers a Gatorade and a protein drink, along with papers i needed and a light jacket all pushed in there, it all fit. ... show more
