I did some research and found a block of ice with some salt added is supposed to keep the cooler colder longer. So i put a 10pound block of ice in the cooler with a cup and a half of salt. 5 hours later or less some of my cold beverages that had been transferred from the fridge to the cooler were frozen slushy style, and the next morning a couple cans had burst from actually completely freezing. So, next time i will skip the salt. But, it works really well as a cooler if it can easily become a freezer... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My boyfriend and I went to an event called Nocturnal wonderland, and we bought this cooler. It was everything! Light weight and also very durable. It literally kept our food and drinks FROZEN the entire time. Yes. All my beer was frozen HAHA A cool trick no one will tell you is to get dry ice and put it at the bottom of your ice chest. I recommend getting foam from a craft store and putting it at the bottom of your cooler. We then put in the dry ice with regular ice on top with all of our food and drinks. ((Don't put dry ice directly on your cooler, it will crack the plastic)) Our patties were FROZEN the entire 4 days we were out there . I did tons of research ((because I am a very skeptical person and read every review in everything)) and I am very happy I went with this cooler. ... show more
