When we go camping, we normally take a couple cases of bottled water with us. In trying to reduce our amount of plastic waste, we decided to replace those cases of water with this jug and some reusable water bottles. It worked great and we also realized that this jug also took up less space so we were able to save some cargo room in the car. The jug is nothing fancy (the retro colors were fun) but it seemed well insulated. We'd dump in an entire bag of ice and then fill it the rest of the way with water. We could normally refill the water 1 time before we'd need to add ice again (camping in near 100 degree heat). We used it daily for almost a week and had no issues with leaks or anything like that. We also discovered that we could fit the 4 water bottles we bought inside the jug, which was great for saving space in the car or storing the jug when we were done with it. We bought 4 of the 17 oz. aluminum bottles so keep that in mind if you decide to buy this.

I like the colors, the lid design was easier to clean then the threaded ones you normally get my only gripe is I had to cut off some of the plastic on the inside of the handle so it can clear the lid.

I love this cute cooler! Great to fill up with water at the Watermill and have room temperature water for a couple days. The handle makes for easy carrying but the only downside it does not hold a full 2 gallons with the lid on. It splashes out EVERY time I fill it. Great for the beach to use as “rinsing water” before we get in car(: Overall great, and I love it! I always receive compliments on this cute little jug

Saw this at my local retail store and had to have this color way but they were out. It was half the price here and a great deal! I can have ice in here and in Florida 100* heat it keeps water ice cold for 5+ hours. Perfect for refilling water bottles on the beach!
