This is the nicest coat. It stays in place nicely and looks great. I have a 30 pound sheltie and bought an XL. Their size chart is spot on. I would have thought my little guy would only wear a medium but I measured him and according to their size chart he was an XL and it fits perfectly. Arthur (the pup) and I walk 3 miles a day in a park in NE Ohio. Sometimes the temps get down in the teens and single digits and we still walk. This coat will keep him nicely warm.

I love this product. It's easy to slip on and off. no hassle with zippers. I do wish that the straps for the legs had snaps instead of the holes in the elastic. But it does the job. I will personally be adding snaps to it, to make it easier for me. Here are the reasons why I like it: Free's up the armpit space to keep her from overheating Protects her chest from getting dirty Covers her bum Does not get in the way of her peeing and pooping Keeps her warm Dries fast The reflective seam on the back The neck, not being restrictive Things I don't like: It's not waterproof or water resistant. I definitely am experiencing the coat absorbing liquid The adjustable chest/waist strap is not long enough, I could use more space My suggestion: Get this product. If you are looking for something waterproof/resistant, look elsewhere. This fit my needs, I just wanted her warm in the snow, and it did that. It also kept her dry, but that's just from the mere fact of keeping her covered.

It's a great jacket. It fits my 50# pittie mix really well (XL). I also purchased an XL for my 35# husky mix and it's too big on her, but we can tighten the straps to make it work. She's very lean and old so I figured I'd get two that fit the pittie, just in case.... Inside of jacket is super soft and they seem to like them. At fist they didn't like the elastic on their booties, but they figured it out. I love the jacket more than any we have owned. Losing the velcro is the way to go.

I have bought this dog coat for several dogs and I love it. Last coat I stepped on and broke the buckle. It has elastic leg straps to keep coat in place when its windy. The collar is nice to have for her neck. The buckles are placed just right. The buckle clips closer to her back and that keeps the coat in place to keep her tummy warm. I can always use layers and with this coat on top it keeps everything in place. Bought a large for a female beagle, 24 lbs.

Pros: This is a nice warm coat for my small dog. It looks really cute on him and fits him relatively well, despite him being a weird mix of small breeds. I absolutely love the fact that it has an adjustable strap to go around his middle. My issue getting clothes for my dog has always been that he is so long, but relatively small in stature. Being able to cinch it around his middle without *really* having to sacrifice in length is a huge plus. I also like that you can cinch the neck part tighter to keep your dog warmer. Cons: My dog is quite long-bodied, so I absolutely have to use the leg straps or the coat will ride up his back. Unfortunately, the straps are really flimsy, so they are frayed on the ends, entirely different lengths, and only attach to a single button. I have to use them on the very last hole (which is a frustratingly different length for each one) and they’re still pretty tight on his hind end. For the price, I wish this coat had longer and more sturdy leg straps for those of us with long dogs. I will say, it is a little annoying to have to put this over his head every time, so I do wish it buckled in the front. It’s also very difficult to use this type of jacket with a front-clipping harness. My dog is still learning to walk politely on the leash, and when I try to clip his leash to the back of his harness through the hole in this coat, he pulls like nobody’s business. It is possible to clip the leash to the front and just thread the leash through the coat, but it is awkward and makes the jacket shift around uncomfortably. I really do wish there was a small hole in front for the leash. Overall, I like the coat and am going to keep it. I wouldn’t say it’s necessary worth the money, but it kept my dog warm for the past week in single-digit temps, so it works well enough!
