Our pups breed has a thin neck, large chest and narrow waist. (Texas Blue Lacy) The drawstring neck, and the adjustable belt on the waist makes this jacket better fitting than any other coat I've tried for her! It's also nice and long so she's covered from ears to tail. I did try putting the optional leg elastics on her back legs, she got used to them quickly, I'm just too lazy to use them for a quick potty break, they're really not needed. I haven't cut them off, but if you wanted to do so that would be easy. The jacket is really well made, seams are sewn tightly with no loose strings etc. The fuzzy sherpa/fleece interior is nice and warm, and the strong smooth exterior fabric doesn't snag on brush and grass, it blocks wind - and a great bonus is that it even repels rain! We're experiencing extremely cold temperatures right now, and I feel assured this coat is protecting my short-haired pup! I'm VERY HAPPY with this dog jacket. Definitely recommend!

This coat is nice and warm, and easy to use. One star off because I followed the size chart, and the first coat I received was way too big for my dog. I exchanged it for a smaller size, and it fits perfectly, with very good coverage. It keeps my dog warm, even when it's windy. It's a great coat. Exactly what I want looking for.

I love the look of this coat and that its adjustable. Being able to make the neck smaller really helps for escape artists like my Bella and her sister (escape artist in training) Dinky. I read someone say go by length. I was buying for a long chihuahua (the neck and chest fit but she’s 13-14 inches long!). I bought a medium. It was huge on her-probably 2-3 in too long and the head hole fit her torso. Thank you, Amazon returns. I ordered a small and sent it back. The small fit perfectly right out of the package (with some neck adjustment since she is an escape artist and managed to get her legs out the head hole at first-the neck adjustment thing is genius!). As you can see she’s long so it doesn’t cover her back completely, but I have no complaints. It’s cute, pink, and will keep her warm. I ordered a second for her sister (who is not as long) after trying it on her. It fit her perfectly. They are puppies so they’re growing out of everything so fast it’s great to have something that will adjust so they can wear it longer. We had a similar style jacket from who knows where (my sister fostered them and brought stuff home) that they’ve grown out of. I wanted another like it. This is perfect! The jacket is really easy to put on. Slip in the head, adjust if needed, and buckle around the waist. It has the straps for the back legs, but you don’t have to use them. The hardest part is catching the dog (we’re talking 5ish month old puppies). I don’t have a picture of Dinky (other puppy) wearing it, but she’s not a fan of clothes so if she let me put it on any dog will. I highly recommend this. It’s easy to put it on, soft, and cute. I love the adjustable under the chest buckle. All dog coats should be like this. (Bella is 6-7 pounds and Dinky was 4-5 and the small is perfect.)

I live SD, and needed a coat for my small dog. It's good and warm/well insulated, and covers his back and chest well. Pros: No zipper on top, so the dog's back is well insulated (no gap in the stuffing for the zipper) and no risk of catching fur in a zipper Buckle clips together on top of the coat, so it's unlikely to catch fur Covers dog's chest well: more protection/warmth for a dog that is running through chest-deep snow, and keeps the dog warmer in general Windbreaker-type of material on the outside prevents cold wind from cutting through it (the way that coats made only out of a fleece-type of material would allow) Cons: It can be tricky to get the coat on and leash clipped under it- the dog's head has to go through a hole, and the leash hole is small, so pulling a ring through it to clip the leash to can also be tricky. I usually stick the leash through the leash hole and clip it to the dog before putting the coat on, then stick my arm through the coat's neck-hole (from the front to the back), grab my dog's muzzle, and feed my arm and the dog's head back through the neck-hole of the coat, buckle it, then pull the leash until the excess has come through the leash-hole. Overall, I highly recommend this coat, it just takes a bit of strategy to put it on an excited/wiggly dog efficiently.

First off, th coats are super cute, they are bright & colorful, & made very well. They are water repellent, & warm & offer alot of coverage. They are easy to put on & take off, yet stay on securely. &Th price is reasonable. Th ONLY "down part" to these coats, is th size chart is misleading. I had to order th coats twice to get th correct size, but it was worth it! (& I didn't even return to wrong sizes, I kept th extra large one for a future Great Dane I don't even have yet; & th too small one I'm donating to an animal shelter).

I love this. My 14 yr old beagle stays nice and toasty, but because he's old, the back leg loops are hard on him. I got him a Large instead of the suggested XL. It was a perfect fit length, chest and width. He likes it and loves staying out and being warm. He loves to be outside as much as possible. I got him the blue camouflage and the inside is felt also. He was super toasty. I'd buy it again.

The media could not be loaded. I got a medium. Ive had these jackets for over a year now. It’s been through all of the seasons and it’s still in very good condition. These coats been through it all.
