I like the look of this lip gloss. It is shiny and slightly sticky, but in line with other lip glosses I have used. It lasts about an hour or so before needing to be reapplied and is moderately moisturizing. The color, however, is not what I was expecting. The name of the color is Brownish Pink. The photo on the product page looks like a dark mauve. In person, the color is mostly brown with a bit of pink. It's ok, but I would have rather had a brighter color. Now that I go back to the product page and look again, none of the photos look like the color name. Name appears to be more accurate than picture, so be warned.

I don’t have the best luck choosing make-up shades based on the online photos and descriptions. In the case of the Idun lip gloss, I opted for Josephine, which is described as brownish pink. When I opened the box, the color visible through the clear tube (which, by the way, I like!), looked far more brown than pink. I didn’t have high hopes when I applied it, but I found it to be more colorless on my lips than I expected. Some of it has to do with the color of my lips. I’m sure, but on me it looks mostly glossy with a little bit of pink tint. This was a pleasant surprise since the brownish color did not appeal to me the way it looked through the tube. That does lead me to question the claim “highly pigmented” however. I wouldn’t call the product/color I received highly pigmented. The lip gloss is thick but not so much so that it’s too thick to apply. I apply a line of it then press my lips together and it spreads evenly. It does come off very easily on whatever your lips come in contact with so it took some rubbing to remove it from the rim of my coffee cup. Made in Sweden with all natural ingredients.

I was hoping this would be pinker than it turned out to be. It’s more of a brownish taupe. I will still wear it, but it just doesn’t have the pink undertone I prefer for everyday wear. The gloss itself is shiny, non sticky, and best of all doesn’t dry out my lips. It doesn’t have any overwhelming flavor/scent (just a slight pleasant one). The container is very luxurious feeling - almost like an acrylic sculpture. The applicator tip is narrower than most I’ve used - and I love the precision it affords. This is a well thought out, quality, product that is made in Italy. I’d happily purchase more of their products.

This lip gloss has a nice, smooth formula. It wasn’t sticky and was somewhere between opaque and translucent. However, the color was much more grey than pictured. It was a warm greige color.

This is my second try with the IDUN Minerals cosmetic line (also tried their mascara) and, so far, I'm not overly impressed. The color on this high shine lip gloss is good, as the "brownish pink," also known as "Josephine" is a deeper, neutral rose brown shade that is close to a lot of maker's "nude," only with some sparkle. This just felt really gloppy going on, and there was a lot, like a lot a lot, of transfer. I guess I prefer a more balmy gloss, that isn't quite as heavy which, to be fair, isn't what this is trying to be, but it's thick, opaqueness just seemed like…a lot. Not sure it's something I'll be using much, if any of, and definitely won't replace my favorite Chanel or Dior Addict glosses.

I ordered the Brownish Pink and the color reflects the name more than the picture. The picture shows more of a pink, but I definitely received a brownish pink, just as the name describes. Which is just fine. The color looks good on. The gloss is a nice sticky gloss. You might not want wear your hair down in the wind. It feels nice on though. Overall, I am satisfied with this gloss.

I ordered the brownish pink color hoping that I would love it, and I do! At first I opened it and I thought I smelled something weird, but it went away. I can’t tell if this smells good or if it smells like chemicals. I don’t know but it doesn’t linger so it’s okay. This lipgloss glides on like a dream. It’s not sticky and it feels ultra moisturizing. The color is almost like a light sheer mauve. It matches my skin tone and I love it. And so far it’s lasted awhile. I would buy this lipgloss again it’s awesome!
