Love it. Putting together was pretty easy. I had a little trouble with the top screwing into the body. Very sturdy yet lightweight just make sure you screw the height screw tightly or it will lower under any pressure. The legs are solid and the body is pretty accurate for a 12 or 14. I really like this product. It is really a good quality manikin. I ened up returning it as I got the wrong size and was going to get the right size. But life happened and my plans changed. But if I have the opportunity to need a manikin again I will get this brand. It's high is adjustable with really helps if your working on a garment and your short like me. This dress form is very close to my size, about 1/2 inch larger in the bust. The other dress forms that I have reviewed with adjustable sizes had so many poor reviews with a high price I didn’t want to take the risk. I sew for myself or my daughter who is pretty much my size so it’s perfect for my needs. The dress form was very easy to assemble except for raising and lowering the height. The plastic material is lightweight but not too light so it doesn’t fall over easily. Why do we need to put pins in the dress form? I have a pin cushion for that and if I were fitting a pattern to a person I wouldn’t poke pins in them. I pin seams together but I have no need to poke the dress form. It can be done for those who feel the need. Try inserting at a 45 degree angle. The height adjustment is a little tricky, so I use a small c clamp to hold torso in place. This Bonnolo dress stand came in a well-packaged box, with all the parts listed in the instruction manual, which was especially easy to follow. The torso body arrived wrapped in a light plastic covering. The form is lightweight, the color is velvet black, and the stand functions as it's supposed to because it's sturdy. The six steps include: First, slide the legs into the slots on the stand; second, screw the thick post into the top of the stand; third, slide the long pole into the stand; fourth, screw the head knob into the neck of the torso. Fifth, I unscrewed the knob underneath the torso before sliding it onto the pole. The final step involves adjusting the height. Once you’re satisfied with the height, tighten the knob underneath the torso to hold it in place. The tripod stand is wooden, but the pole is metal. Stick pins easily penetrate the torso body, which has a velvet covering. The size of the torso is consistent with a plus size. I could not be happier with my torso. This price is generously affordable for the price of this torso on a tripod stand. ... show more
