The biggest risk is this unit hitting the frame or another wires as it's not insulated/covered. A cover would be very nice and should probably be fashioned once installed. I just upgrade my 2002 2500HD Silverado stereo system and added two amps.. This made running power to them much easier. These seem to be good quality and fit battery terminals tight.

    • Great way to make your electrical system a little bit better
Stock battery terminals stink. These are a great upgrade that make sure you get good distribution and full contact with the posts on your car battery. I haven't had any problems since installing these - before, I would occasionally have a situation where I jumped in the car and turn the key and nothing happened. So I'd get out, pop the hood, and re-seat the battery cables, and all would be right with the world. That doesn't happen anymore at all. Five stars, would recommend ... show more

    • Nicely machined and finished - make sure you have room for safe use.
This battery block is very well machined and finished. There are no sharp edges and it’s nicely polished. It comes with Allen wrenches for the main terminal connection and the additional ports - everything you need. Would be nice to have a cover for protection from the elements, but otherwise this is a well executed design and very functional piece of equipment, just make sure you have enough space to accommodate both the block and the additional connections safely. ... show more
