    • Used instead of stretcher bars
I had some canvas paintings that I needed to mount, but the stretcher bar kits on Amazon tend to be expensive (around $15 for one set). This came with eight boards for around the same price. I was able to simply mount my canvases over the existing stretched canvas, and they look great!

You do indeed it seems. I needed some small canvases in bulk and got that. Main issue is the way they're packaged. The staples used to keep the fabric stretched out and in place seem to rust, and it rubs onto the front of the canvas directly underneath. This wouldn't be an issue if each canvas was packaged separately, which they're not. You also get bumps on the canvases, sometimes denting in and sometimes poking out - I haven't the foggiest idea of how you get a bump poking out, but I assume the dents are from staples pressing down too tightly. I don't have really high standards, I paint on these canvases for fun - however, I do expect the canvases I order to not have rust splotches and dents and bumps at minimum. Not terrible overall, but not the greatest either. If you're just looking to have some fun with arts and crafts, especially with a lot of people, then this is a decent buy - I don't recommend these to anyone who is particular or picky with their canvases though. ... show more

I only needed one size now, but this is such a good value I got the set. They seem to be a decent quality. I am not much of an artist, but they worked great for my project.

Canvases were damaged. Some had primer defects where canvas had no primer at all. Some canvas edges were damaged and most all canvases were assembled sloppy and uneven. Staples were rusty, some canvases were dirty.

Professional. No. And at $25 for the multi-pack, not worth it. I was supposed to get 14 canvases, one of the 8x10's was missing. The canvas isn't well stretched. There are imperfections in the weave. The corners are just a mess on some of them. The coating is pretty thin. They're probably fine for a beginner, but not at that price. ... show more
