I live in north Tx. And leave my windows cracked a little so it not so hot upon entering. You cant't tell they are open and not worried about any sudden shower getting in. The gift of the plate surrounds was a nice touch. No more sharp edges or bent plate.

Okay but the slanted shade may look nice for back windows but it won't allow you to keep back windows down and keep the rain out because of the cut and the windows.
